Learning mathematics is a thinking activity,which must be effectively presented and communicated with the aid of mathematical language.Generally speaking,the mathematical language is divided into three categories of words,symbols and figures.The process of continuous internalization,formation and application of mathematical language is the process of constructing mathematical knowledge.It can be said that learning mathematics is learning mathematical language.This paper studies the problem of stems from finding students have difficulty in understanding different mathematical expressions which causes learning disabilities from the teaching practice.Students enter the secondary school stage from grade seven,from the perspective of mathematical language and the competency to analyze the characteristics of students' mathematics learning,that is,to dig the essence of learning from the perspective of the students.Classroom teaching is the main link of students' learning activities.Therefore,classroom teaching is the breakthrough point in the study of how to cultivate students' mathematical language competency.It can be effectively cultivated in the classroom to truly "teach people to fish".First of all,it adopts the method of literature analysis to define the concept,classification and competency of mathematical language.This article adopts the general classification method that divides the mathematical language into three categories of characters,symbols and figures in the form of expression.In this way,the contents of mathematics learning in the seven grade students begin to be summarized and accurate,and the symbolic language appears in a large number and is abstracted in general development.It is clear that this article focuses on understanding and transforming competency in the competency of mathematical language,and determines that the emphasis of classroom teaching is symbolic language,and mathematics learning should be the experience accumulation process of the students' experience as the main body.The practical research is divided into two parts:First,the questionnaire(including test papers)and interviews were used to investigate the mathematical language competency of the grade seven students and the status of the classroom teaching.The results showed that:(1)In terms of three mathematical languages,characters,symbols and figures,students are better at handling individually and some laborious in sign language,but there are many obstructs in transformation between mathematical languages,and their competencies are relatively weak.(2)Teachers focus on training students to apply the correct mathematical knowledge in classroom teaching,learning and mastering the language of mathematics are omitted from the perspective of concern students' mathematical knowledge acquisition and internalization,and the teaching activities are not form a long-term or series,teachers speak more and tell students to do more practice.Another part is the presentation and analysis of the three classroom teaching cases.It is one of the core parts of this article.It summarizes the advisable points in the typical cases of cultivating students' mathematical language ability in grade seven based on classroom teaching: The typical teaching case merit for teachers pay attention to grade seven students' mathematical language especially symbolic language comprehension and the cultivation of mathematical language transformation competency,starting from the students' participation and needs to group cooperative learning,supplemented by information technology equipment and physical operating experiences and other forms of long-term or series to carry out,so that students can complete experience of doubt,communication feedback,discussion summary,to investigate the process of accumulation of experience,the construction of knowledge.Finally,summarizing the results of this study,puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of grade seven students' mathematical language ability based on classroom training,and gives teachers a reference or inspiration to help students get out of some difficulties and bottlenecks in mathematics learning,and summarizes the shortcomings of this study to lay a foundation for the future teaching and research work.
