For a long time,the excessive academic burden load on school students has been hindering the development of Quality Education Reform in China,and the excessive academic burden will bring negative influence to Children's physical and psychological health.The Previous studies focused on the actual academic burden of students,while ignored student's academic burden attitude.In fact,student's academic burden attitude can affect the degree of their likeness to school and their social anxiety,which has an important influence on their psychology.The issue of “academic burden in primary and secondary schools” is specialized in China.How to effectively reduce students' academic burden both in physical and psychological,and how to improve student's psychological health level,is a common concern in the education community and even the entire society.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the schoolchild's academic burden attitude.In order to make clear the situation of the academic burden of primary school and their attitude,427 pupils and their parents in 6 public primary schools in Shanghai were selected as subjects in this study.And we used questionnaires to investigate the school children's academic burden,academic burden attitude,social anxiety,and school Attitudes,parental rearing methods.The results showed that:(1)The burden of school work on primary school students was still heavy,and the monitoring indicators such as school hours and sleeping hours did not meet the requirements of relevant laws and policies.The objective academic burden of 5th grade students was significantly heavier than that of 4th grade students.For homework time,nonlocal students were much longer than those of local students;for the off-campus tutoring time,the situation The situation was exactly the opposite.(2)With the increase of grades,the heavier academic burden students felt,the higher social anxiety they had and their likeness toward the school would decline.And we found that non-local students like school more than local students did.(3)There was a close relationship between school children's academic burden attitude,school attitude,social anxiety and parental rearing styles.The academic burden attitude showed significant negative correlation to the parenting style of warm acceptance,and significant positive correlation to the parenting style of refusal punishment.The academic burden attitude could negatively predict school pupils' school attitudes and positively predict social anxiety;school attitude could negatively predict social anxiety.(4)The school attitude played an intermediary role between academic burden attitude and social anxiety,and the parenting style of warm acceptance laied a regulating role in school attitude and social anxiety.
