Heavy academic burden on students has always been a problem inChina. It makes a bad influence to kids’ health and development, and infringestheir personal right and education right in some way. Therefore, Heavy academicburden on kids is not only an improper phenomenon, but also an illegal behavior.Reducing kids’ over load academic burden is for the sake of kids’ legitimate rightsso as to let them grow up healthily.As far as the overall condition of senior grades’ academic burden is concerned,apparently it’s not optimistic. According to the study, both school and familyeducation attaches nearly all energy to test subjects, high grades’ academic burdenis overweight and highlight in the test subjects. The causes of this are complicated,and the weakness of administering in accordance with laws in the field ofeducation is the most important factor. To be specific, the inefficiency of legal andregulatory policies, the weak management under the rule of law in school, theabsence of laws and guidance for family education are all responsible for this.Therefore, It is necessary to improve students’ academic burden condition in theorbit of the rule of law. The government needs to upgrade laws and regulations soas to strengthen the effectiveness of laws. School needs to strengthen their internaladministrative rules so as to regulate the behavior of teaching and management ofschool. Besides, it is necessary to strengthen family education legislation toimprove family education status, and parents should try to get a good knowledge offamily laws and education. Last but not the least, schools and parents should helpkids make good use of learning and leisure time, cultivate kids’ interests andhobbies to meet their various developing need so as to reduce their over loadacademic burden and balance their overall academic burden structure, finallyachieve the aim of complete improvement of pupils’ academic burden.
