| In primary school, conversion of measurement units is more common, and students have a higher error rate.Especially in the upper grades, the relationship between various measurement units and various progress rates is complicated, and it is not advisable to solve problems by only doing questions and rote memorization. It is necessary to explore the difficulties of students learning in this problem, and find new ways to promote student learning. With the rise of children’s programming education, researchers have shifted their focus from "learning to program" to "learning through programming".Scratch,as a simple and easy-to-use graphical programming software, has gradually been applied to mathematics in recent years. The Scratch Programming and Mathematics Scratch Maths(hereinafter referred to as SM)curriculum project developed by the University of London(UCL)research team in the United Kingdom uses programming to express mathematical ideas and develop students’ mathematical thinking. This research draws on its related ideas and content, applies it to the learning of mathematics conversion problems in elementary schools,It pays attention to the essence of conversion problems, and establishes a decimal digit model with the help of counting units to help students better learn and understand mathematics knowledge and improve students’ Mathematical thinking. This research adopts literature research method, investigation research method, experimental research method and interview method. It is based on constructivist learning theory, meaningful learning theory,"learning by doing" theory and activity theory.Based on previous research,Constructed Scratch’s teaching model supports elementary school mathematics learning,It is combined with the fourth grade primary school students’ learning of mathematics conversion problems and designed teaching activities to implement them and verified the effectiveness of teaching activities. The work of this research is mainly divided into the following four parts.First, collect, organize, and analyze the status quo of studying mathematics conversion problems in elementary schools and Scratch programming to support mathematics learning, and define the concepts of Scratch programming, elementary school mathematics conversion problems, and teaching activities.Second,it analyzed the feasibility of Scratch programming to support elementary school mathematics learning, borrowing from typical teaching models, and constructing a teaching model for Scratch programming to support elementary school math learning.Third, design teaching activities based on the mathematics conversion problem of the fourth grade of primary school, taking learners, teaching goals, teaching content, teaching environment, teaching resources and teaching activity evaluation as elements.Fourth, carry out teaching activities that support the learning of mathematics conversion problems in primary schools, and collect relevant data to verify the effects of their teaching activities. The research results show that the Scratch programming designed in this research supports the teaching activities of primary school mathematics conversion problem learning, provides students with opportunities for inquiry and learning, and strengthens students’ understanding of the core concept of counting units, the construction of decimal places, and the nature of conversion. To a certain extent,It improves the correct rate of primary school students’ answering questions of mathematics conversion, uses Scratch programming to learn mathematics, and promotes the improvement of mathematics thinking. |
