With the weak link between the biology knowledge and ability in middle school and high school ones,teachers feel it difficult and tense to deal with students' homework in limited classes.And the phenomenon that the homework often designed more based on quantity but not on quality causes students to refuse to hand in their homework in time or just copy others'.The two factors above may make teachers tired and bored to their career.Teachers' ignorance to the reflection and management to homework have leaded to a serious problem that teachers' teaching quality,their ability to design homework properly and the ability to do with students' homework decreased,which cause the one-sidedness in their comments to students.In order to improve students' sense of content in doing homework and achieve the course's teaching goal that aims to serve all the students and be beneficial for their development all their lives,I will research the fresh students in high school and their biology teachers with the guidance of the following theories: Cognitive structure teaching theory from Jerome Seymour Bruner,Humanism teaching theory from Carl Ransom Rogers,Mastery Learning Theory from Benjamin Bloom,the theory of zone of proximal development from Lev Vygotsky and constructivism.The questionnaire survey,observation,interviewing method and literature method will be applied in the study.The specific way is as the following.First,investigate the situation about the design of the biology homework,its finish condition and the teachers' correcting and explanation to the homework in high school,in which the questionnaire survey and interviewing method will be used both to teachers and students.And then,some shortcomings will be discovered in the survey result in the ways of Document method and Comparative research method.Last,I will make suggestions for improvement of these shortcomings by consulting literature and listening to various suggestions from teachers and students.I will pay attention to communicating with teachers,students and their parents to find out and solve some problems,and summarize the experiences to form a homework system to cope with the problems.Homework system consists of the following six parts: homework design,homeworkassignment,homework remark,homework feedback,homework comment and homework management.The six parts affects each other to establish such a homework system as the lesson Photosynthesis.In the process of constructing a homework system,the quantity of exercises,examination points and practical homework should be emphasized in the primary homework,and designing homework for students in different levels is a good way in the period of summarizing to improve.Students will gain the sense of harvest but not failure in finishing homework because they will be allowed to choose their own homework according to their studies,and teachers will have to change their ways in evaluating students' homework from correcting and commenting only by teachers to correcting and commenting by students themselves and their classmates,moreover,students can comment their teacher's homework on quantity and quality.Meanwhile,students' parents will strengthen their concern to their children's homework and study.All of these make homework a bridge among teachers,students and their parents.Teachers are able to adjust and manage the homework collecting students' assessment to homework to set up an efficient homework system finally.
