An Empirical Study On New Venture Resource Integration And Its Relationship With Firm Innovation Performance

Currently, entrepreneurial activity continuously rising, entrepreneurship has become a new driving force of China's economic development. Due to the high risk and poor viability, new ventures are confronted with huge challenge even if they playing a key role in national economy development. With the deepening of the study, more and more scholars and entrepreneurs focus attention on innovation which enhancing the viability of new ventures in entrepreneurial process. However, it must be noted that new ventures is constrained of resource. Therefore improving the innovation performance of entrepreneurial is particularly important and urgent through the integration of resources.In this paper, star-up is regarded as research object. We study the mechanism of resource integration impacting on innovation performance in new venture. Firstly this paper summarizes the research of entrepreneurship?resource integration and innovation performance at home and at abroad. On this basis, we divide entrepreneurship resource integration into resource identify access and resource configuration utilize, as well as divide innovation performance into product innovation performance and process innovation performance creatively. And we build the relationship of dimensions between the entrepreneurial resource integration and innovation performance so as to propose the research hypotheses about the relationship model. Then, based on getting first-hand date of more than147start-ups by questionnaire, an empirical study is taken to test the assumptions between new venture resource integration and innovation performance by correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results shows that resource identify access and resource configuration utilize are related to product innovation performance and process innovation performance positively. Finally, we hope this study could provide advice and assistance for new venture on how to improve the innovation performance through resource integration.
