In the21st century, In addition to the resources of the capital, information and so on, knowledge has already become the most important capital for enterprise development. Economy’s development is very fast, so knowledge management is more and more important in the business management. At the same time, knowledge sharing, as the core part of knowledge management, people will pay more and more attention to it. As an important carrier of knowledge and the new creators of knowledge, people is the key to the working of knowledge sharing. Because of the development of personality psychology, the enterprises can understand the staff well. They can analysis the personality characteristics of employees and determine which employees will to promote knowledge sharing. In view of this, this article selects the analysis tool of the "big five" personality model for the individual personality trait, in order to explore conscientiousness, agreeableness and openness to experience’s impact on knowledge sharing. At the same time, this article divides knowledge into four dimensions. And I will further analysis the influence of the three personality dimensions to the various dimensions of knowledge sharing. This paper hopes to make compensation for the theory of knowledge sharing, and provide some theoretical reference to the enterprise managers.This paper includes theoretical research and empirical analysis. Theoretical research is mainly the form of literature review. The main contents include knowledge, knowledge sharing, personality traits. Meanwhile, it proposes the theoretical basis of the empirical model and assumptions. Empirical analysis mainly use the form of questionnaire for data collection and effective to analysis data, draws the corresponding conclusion. At last, according to the result we will give some reasonable suggestions to enterprise management.In this paper the main conclusions are:1. Personality traits have a positive effect on knowledge sharing. Personality here includes three dimensions, include conscientiousness, agreeableness and openness to experience. And knowledge sharing is treated as a whole. Through data analysis, we can draw the personality characteristics have positive correlation to knowledge sharing. And it shows that high conscientiousness, agreeableness, openness’ individual is more conducive to knowledge sharing.2. This paper divides knowledge into four dimensions, named the embodied knowledge, embrained knowledge, embedded knowledge and encoded knowledge. For the encoded knowledge and embrained knowledge sharing, high conscientiousness’ person have the highest effect to them, the following is high agreeableness and high openness person, influence is not obvious. For the embedded knowledge’ sharing, Conscientiousness Personality has positive and obvious influence on it, and the other kinds of personality has not significant effect on it. For the embodied knowledge’ sharing agreeableness’ and openness’ personality has positive effects on it, but Conscientiousness Personality’ influence is the most significant.
