At present, the operation of S salt company is protected by the Regulations for the Management of Salt Industry and Edible Salt Monopoly Regulation. There are numerous problems, such as excessive logistics links, unreasonable process, overstock, the low information-based level and so on, in the whole process of management. In the entire operating costs of S salt company, the logistics cost accounts for a large proportion, therefore, logistics can provide effective economic support for S salt company, and the logistics condition directly determines the operating conditions and development prospects of S salt industry. With the continuous strengthening of S salt company logistics, it needs to reform the existing organizational structure and management methods, adjust the logistics process of S salt company, reduce the redundant logistics link, improve logistics efficiency, so that the overall logistics cost is minimal. In addition to this, it can also improve the service level in order to a better foundation for development be provided to the entire S salt company in the future market.This article is based on the theory of competitive advantage, logistics and business process reengineering, and use the S company as an example to design the logistics process reengineering. This article analyzes the current situation of the logistics process of the company from the procurement management, warehouse management and distribution management, etc. And it points out the problems such as low efficiency, high purchase cost, and huge amount of stock. Then it proposes the Five Stages of Logistics Process Reengineering Model based on different process reengineering theory, which is proposed by Hammer, Peppard, Roland and the other foreign scholars, and the actual situation of the s salt company. The model is applied to S salt company logistics process reengineering implementation, and estimates the benefits whit logistics process reengineering. Finally, the article provides some suggestions about the adjustment of the S salt company.
