Study On The Development Of Potato Industry In Henan Province

In this paper,through literature,comparative analysis and other methods,the development situation of potato industry at home and abroad are reviewed.Then through the interview method,case analysis,with the investigation data from Zhengzhou,Kaifeng,Nanyang,Luoyang,Shangqiu etc.,under the three kinds of organization mode,peasant household production,cooperative production and corporate production,the cost,benefits and advantages and disadvantages of planting potatoes are analyzed.Coming to the,cooperative production and corporate production mode are more suitable for the development of modern agriculture,are more advantageous to the potato industry to develop in the direction of large-scale,intensive.Countries should encourage individual farmers to actively participate in the cooperative production.Finally problems existing in the development of potato industry in Henan province is the insufficient government support,scientific research is less,management extensive,low yield,processing ability is insufficient,the problem such as marketing system is not sound.Suggestions are put forward,Strengthening government support to promote the healthy and rapid development of industry;Standardizing the land circulation to promote the potato industry scale management;establishing and improving the well-bred breeding system,Intensify efforts to research and development of special potato;strengthening the agricultural technology promotion,improve the scientific and technological level of farmers;Strengthening the potato new product research and development,deepening the potato deep processing;Perfecting marketing system,creating famous brand.
