Analysis On The Spatial Distribution Transition Of China's Potato Production And Its Influencing Factors

Within the range of countries around the world,China is the largest potato planting area,also has the highest yield.In the face of the difficult to improve the production of rice,wheat,corn and other crops,potato was chosen as the future security of our country's food security food for its cold resistant,drought tolerant,high yield,strong adaptability.For this purpose,2015,the ministry of agriculture put forward to implement the strategy of potato staple which is a great opportunity for potato production.Over the past twenty years,influenced by many factors such as resources,market,economic and technology,great changes have taken place in China's potato production space layout.Therefore,in this context,it is necessary to study the influence factors and the change of production space layout about China's,which can provide theoretical basis and give some advice for future development of food securityBased on the comprehensive and systematic analysis on the relevant theory and literature,in this paper,first,used descriptive statistical methods to analyze the national and regional characteristics of potato production;Then,from the district and provincial level,with the method of production concentration index to analyze the change of the concentration of Chinese potato production;Third,through comprehensive comparative advantage index method,the comparative advantage of Chinese potato production area and provincial has been concluded;Again,used the regional center of gravity method,the focus of China's potato production trajectory depicts intuitively;Finally,using the econometric model,analyzed the factors affecting the potato production space layout change.Based on the above research,this paper concluded:(1)From 1985 to 2014,the Chinese potato production volume is increasing in general;Production layout to southwest direction;Production types can be divided into three kinds divergent type,deflating type and cross wave type.(2)No matter from the scale advantage index,efficiency advantage index and comprehensive advantage index,the north region and the mixed southwest region are the advantage of most potato production areas in China.(3)the potato production nationwide focus moves from the "northeast" to "southwest",and more and more fixed position.(4)the empirical results show that the per capita arable land area,the effective irrigation area,the affected area,the potato yield level,agricultural mechanization level and the farmers' non-agriculturalemployment opportunities,and other factors in different extent,affects the spatial layout of potato production.Among them,the farmer employment opportunities has the greatest effect for the north region,the mixed southwest region and the north region,and the effect is negative;Arable land per capita and operation for the influence of the central plains region is the largest,also significantly negative.At the end,give the following advice according to the above argument: to grasp the law of production,further optimize the potato production layout;Increase the intensity of support,strengthening the construction of infrastructure of potato production;Rely on science and technology,improve the level of the potato output;Rational planning of layout,give full play to the comparative advantage of potato production;Reasonable distribution of productive forces,raise the potato producers in labor productivity.
