With the development of people's life, culture and entertainment has been further development, audio products have huge potential consumer, and audio industry has been a rapid growth stage. In audio sales company, salesperson who owns customer resources is the most important resource. For company, it is the key that whether audio salesperson can adapt to the needs of the market competition and own competent ability. Meanwhile, for audio salesperson, in order to maximize their own values, and to seek better development, audio salesperson needs to make an accurate assessment of their own. The competence evaluation theory provides a better way to resolve these issues.This paper uses theories about competence, focuses on the audio salesperson competence systematically studying. The whole paper is based on psychology, and management and competence theories, using statistical methods, conducts research of the competence of audio salesperson, in order to build the competence model and find and analyze its application problem in practice.The paper has used event-interview, exploratory factor analysis and other empirical methods to obtain the competence model of the audio salesperson. We get a competence model of audio salesperson which consists of 5 dimensions and 16 features. The 5 dimensions consist of communication and presentation, teamwork, professional knowledge and skills, establish and maintain relations and business-oriented.In the competence model for audio salesperson, the dimension of communication and presentation has own four competence that are external information gathering capabilities, information skills, and grasp the theme and good view argument; the teamwork dimension has own four competence that are integrate into the team, conflict management, information sharing and team goals; the professional knowledge and skills dimension has own four competence that are sales planning, product understanding, analytical thinking and tenacity; the establish and maintain relations dimension has own two competency that are relationship building and relations; the businessoriented dimension has own two competencies that are business analysis and self-tuning.For the audio salesperson in author company(Shanghai ELAC Electronic Co., Ltd.), the paper has proposed then audio salesperson competence model practical application in staff competency evaluation, recruitment, performance evaluation and staff training.
