With the rapid process of urbanization, the obstacles of various resources flowing between the urban and rural areas become less and less, but the flowing of rural population is more and more frequently. During the process of rural people going to the cities from countryside, on the one hand, the living standard of rural people has improved greatly; on the other hand, the rural homestead idle problem has come to our eyes. But there is not special legislation to regularizing behaviors of how to make good use of rural homestead.The rural homestead is critical to the largest and most fundamental interests for the nearly700 million farmers. We need to consider different kinds of rural areas of housing land idle situations fully, in order to solve the problem scientifically and objectively.Therefore, reviewing the existing of the results of other researchers, the rural housing land is divided into the suburban and outer suburbs homestead in this paper based on the household labor transfer of push-pull theory and regional economic development theory.This text analyzed the influence factors of different types of rural housing land idle, which was combined with the instance and the Logistic binary regression in SPSS22.0 software.The results of the Logistic binary regression show that the significant influencing factors on the suburban rural residential land idle are the total number of families migrant labors,whether the families have purchase housing in cities or towns, the total household land area, the farmers' understanding of the function of the land income and the significant influencing factors on the outer suburb rural residential land idle are the job of the head of household, the average time of migrant labor of a family, the number of the house of the household, the level of the rural farmers' understanding of the legal system.
