With the rapid economic development of our society, because of the two-way extrusion of urban and rural development, the contradiction between land supply and demand have become increasingly prominent, we must put the protection of cultivated land and optimal and intensive land use in the position of national development and reform of global. rural residential land consolidation is an important part of land consolidation. Many domestic and foreign practice have proved that rural residential land consolidation plays an important role in promoting conservation of land intensive use, rural urbanization development, improving the land utilization. Therefore, the study of rural residential land consolidation is very necessary.The relevant study on consolidation mode of rural residential is less, mainly focuses on theoretical system, village development potential is important basis of choosing which consolidation mode of rural residential land, therefore, this paper, based on the perspective of village development potential, exploring the rural residential land consolidation mode, it has important significance to better guide the rural residential land consolidation practice and promote the development of villages.This paper analysed the relationship between the development of villages and rural residential land consolidation, finding out the correspondence between driving force of social and economy and environment and AVC theory, therefore, applicated AVC of landscape ecology theory, Constructed evaluation index system of village development potential from attraction, vitality and environment. taking Dainan town as an example for the calculation and evaluation.Summarized the main driver of village development, refined consolidation mode of rural residential based on the evaluation results and combined with the local reality, and analysed the arrangement direction of various consolidation mode.The consolidation pattern divided according to the different way, The classification results are as follows:urbanization mode; mode of remodeling old villages, The new village construction mode, demolition and merge mode; Based on the different sources of funds, Selected indexes of Annual income of farmers and Annual ground of GDP, then analysed and evaluation these indexes.
