NC Tobacco Companies Logistics Distribution Center Information Management Design And Implementation Research

As the reform strength of tobacco industry grew in past years,its demand with fundamental management and regulation for tobacco industry increased more and more.Logistics distribution center is a service window of tobacco industry.However,the original management model and principle can not satisfy development of market.The goal of industry reform is to improve service quality,tobacco quality,management level and intensify market competition.By studying international advanced management pattern,State tobacco monopoly administration(STMA)actively introduce advanced management ideas.Furthermore,STMA intensify and accelerate development of logistics distribution center in tobacco industry.The proposed steps are shown below:(1)reform in management pattern,(2)innovation in technique application,(3)achievement for development in logistics distribution center.In this paper,we analyzed demand of information management and IT application of logistics distribution center,we focused on 4 aspects for the whole tobacco logistic distribution center: 1.warehouse management,2.classifications management,3.distribution management,4.platform management.Based on current situation and demand of project,we proposed a well designed information system platform for logistics distribution center.It includes hardware equipment system design,smart distribution process design and platform software design.As a result,we evaluated our new information system platform.This article mainly focused on setting up an new tobacco logistic distribution information platform where annual sales is 0.3 million cartons or below.We can reduce operation cost of logistics distribution and improve logistics management and service standard by researching this new whole IT application project.We also provided statistics and results for future work on construction and operation management of small and medium size distribution center.
