In the process of human resource management, compensation management plays an important role. To set up a sound compensation management system has an important impact on the development of enterprises. Which can attract, retain and motivate people. With the rapid development of enterprises, Compensation management is becoming the core factor that affects competitiveness of enterprise. If the enterprise wants to improve its competitiveness in the market, it must have a set of effective compensation management system that meets the actual business development requirement, which is a critical job to guarantee the enterprise to have a long-term development and to constantly improve the market competitivenessThis paper takes the A company, one of the production enterprises, as an example, and makes an in-depth investigation and study about its existing compensation management system, by analyzing the compensation management related problems, and finally finds out the specific solutions and improvement process. About the compensation investigation and study, not only to collect current data, but also to make the face to face interviews and paper questionnaires during the employees. After the survey, the paper carries out the detailed analysis on A company compensation management problems. The major problems of compensation management in A company focus on the compensation strategy, compensation external competitiveness, and compensation structure. In view of the enterprise compensation management problems, this paper gives some improvements for the compensation management system, the establishment of the new compensation system uses the method and theory related to position value evaluation, external salary comparison and compensation design, etc..This paper focuses on the combination of the actual operation and theory, through innovative ideas to effectively solve the problems in the enterprise. If the enterprises has the similar problems, or has not set up compensation system, the paper can provide a reference, referring to the methods of improving their compensation management problems.
