Agriculture is the foundation of our country, it is the important pillar of our country's social economy. In the process of transforming traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, science and technology as the first productive force, its function is self-evident. Agricultural science and technology talents, it is the creator of science and technology and promoting the development of agricultural science and technology personnel, and promote the promotion of science and technology in agricultural production, is the fundamental way to realize agricultural modernization?In the visual threshold of performance, it is an important means to strengthen agricultural science and technology talents. To agricultural science and technology personnel performance evaluation as the goal, mainly to do the following work:Firstly, based on the research of the present situation and problems of agricultural science and technology talents in Hunan Province, the scientific and rational performance evaluation system of agricultural science and technology talents is designed by analyzing the input and output of agricultural science and technology talents;Secondly, the advantages of AHP and DEA methods were used to evaluate the performance of agricultural science and technology talents. The weight of each index was calculated by using the AHP method, and the relative performance value was calculated by DEA method;Finally, combined with the evaluation results, according to the actual situation of Hunan Province, from three aspects of the policy, law environment, the environment and the protection of the environment, the agricultural science and technology talents for the development and training to provide practical suggestions.The results show that the combination of DEA and AHP can get the relative efficiency of the evaluation object, and not lose the subjective preference of the evaluation, it is very suitable for agricultural scientific and technical personnel performance evaluation of this kind of multi input multi output problem.
