With the rapidly changing market and technology environment,enterprise development is facing a high degree of uncertainty.New product development activities have an important impact on enterprises innovation and development as a critical business,which is a key link to cope with the fierce competitive environment to improve their competitive advantage.According to the resource-based theory,which requires companies to effectively integrate internal and external resources.As an crucial node in the supply chain enterprise,suppliers involved in new product development has become a new collaborative development model,which is considered as a key factor to enhance the competitives ability of enterprises and market.How to choose the right suppliers to involve in new product development projects is a paramount issue concerning the development of enterprises.However,most of the traditional evaluation studies on supplier selection based on new product development situation is still relatively few.Moreover,the related supplier evaluation index has not formed a systematic system yet.In this research,the strategic supplier selection and evaluation of new product development in home appliance manufacturing enterprises is taken as the research object,and the method of systematic theory research and case study is used to study the strategic supplier participation and selection in the process of new product development of home appliance manufacturing enterprises evaluation.In this paper,firstly,the supplier is involved in the development of new product and the evaluation of supplier selection and other related literatures,and then the research on the strategy supplier participation time and participation mode in different stages of new product development is explored.Second,through the different stages of new product development strategy the supplier's different tasks and responsibilities should be sorted out so as to construct the evaluation index system of the strategic suppliers.Through the expert survey and interview,the AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is adopted to construct the different index weighting system for evaluating the strategic suppliers at different stages of new product development.Finally,taking Y enterprise as an example,combining with the model and process of Y enterprise new product development,this paper constructs NPD-based strategic supplier selection and evaluation system to evaluate the strategic suppliers in the process of Y enterprise new product development.Through the theory,case study and empirical analysis,the author thinks that in the new product development,the strategic supplier should be selected according to the complexity of the new product development task and the maturity of the technology.Then,according to the actual demand of the enterprise,suitable strategic suppliers are included in the new product development process to effectively integrate strategic supplier resources.At the same time,in different stages of new product development,according to the characteristics of new product development phase corresponding to the use of strategic suppliers evaluation index weight system for strategic suppliers to conduct a scientific and comprehensive evaluation.This study not only enriches the relevant theory system of suppliers participating in the new product development,but also explores the strategic supplier selection and evaluation in the new product development situation,and also provide useful guidance for enterprise during strategic supplier selection and evaluation in the new product development project.
