Study On The Regional Difference Of The Impact Of Agricultural Products Import And Export On Farmers' Income In China

China vigorously promote agricultural opening up since joining WTO.Compared with the prior to achieve a significant progress in agricultural trade,and the trade volume increased significantly,continued to enhance the degree of dependence on foreign trade,has basically formed a new pattern of agricultural foreign trade.On the one hand,China actively optimize and adjust the export structure of agricultural products,expand the export of dominant agricultural products,formed the labor-intensive agricultural products based export system.On the other hand,China actively make good use of the international market,appropriate to import resource intensive agricultural products,make up the imbalance between supply and demand of the agricultural products,ease our shortage of agricultural resources pressure,to safeguard our country food security is important.In the agricultural product import and export of the rapid development of ten years,the peasants in our country also in agricultural products import and export benefited.Accession to the WTO,the income of farmers in our country growth entered a "golden age",with an average annual growth rate than before has increased significantly.The development of the trade of agricultural products and the opening of the new market has obviously improved the growth of rural economy in China,not only make our country farmers to realize the change of the market,but also make our agricultural products to further develop the advantage in the international market,which has a more profound impact on the income increase of farmers in China.But on the other hand,the income structure of farmers in China has changed,and finally caused the influence that the income gap between farmers in China and can not be ignored.Some scholars have found,in the rapid development of China's foreign trade at the same time,China's income gap between urban and rural areas as well as regional Disparity are increasing.This paper studies the relationship between the rapid development of China's foreign trade of agricultural products and the farmers income gap in China,and tries to find out whether China's agricultural products import and export has an impact on the regional differences of farmers' income.First of all,from the traditional theory,Ricardo's comparative advantage theory,H-O theory,S-S theorem and the specific factor prove the relationship between international trade and income gap from different levels and aspects.This paper discusses the relationship between the trade and the income gap from several theories in detail.Secondly,to study the relationship between agricultural products import and export and the income gap between farmers,the premise needs to understand the current situation of China's agricultural products import and export as well as the income of farmers.Firstly the present situation of agricultural production in China are described,the differences of the three areas in agricultural production in all aspects of the differences,and China's regional agricultural products import and export,mainly from the view of the difference between import and export structure are described in detail,followed by a description of our country farmer income gap situation,through calculating Theil index to measure the regional income gap between farmers.Then,based on the traditional trade theory,this paper analyzes the mechanism of the effect of the export and import of agricultural products on the income of the farmers.In the literature to explore the impact of agricultural trade on Farmers' income,scholars have mentioned the importance of the different kinds of agricultural products import and export to the income the gap between farmers,but there is no research on the difference of specific agricultural products.This article is out of this consideration,collected ten years of agricultural products import and export kinds of gap,to study the relationship between the gap and the change of the income gap between farmers.The empirical part uses the STATA software to make an empirical analysis of the panel model.According to the need of research,this paper divides the whole country into three regions,each area is a section of the province,and the static panel model is established.The panel model is determined according to the traditional analysis frame of production function,select the provinces of rural household income as the explanatory variables,the selection of agricultural products import and export volume as the core variables,the selection of capital,education,technology as the control variable.First of all,descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were made on the variables involved in the panel model,and then the regression analysis of the panel model was carried out.Regression analysis is the main topic of this paper,using the Hausman test of the static panel model,the fixed or random effects of the three panel models were determined.Then,according to the empirical results,it is proved that the import and export of agricultural products have an impact on the regional disparity of farmers' income in China.At last,through the analysis of the problems found in the description of the previous situation and the results of the empirical analysis,then put forward different policy recommendations for different regions.For the eastern region,because of its absolute advantage in the export of agricultural products in our country,labor intensive agricultural products with competitive advantage for export,import can save scarce resources of land intensive agricultural products,make full use of the impact of agricultural products import and export on the welfare of farmers and Farmers' income is also a leading position in the whole country.Then the paper puts forward that the production of agricultural products in the eastern region should be changed from extensive to intensive production,improve the quality of agricultural products,further adapt to the increasingly stringent international testing standards.For the central region,we can find that there is a considerable gap between the farmers' income in the central and western regions in this paper.In order to narrow the gap,the farmers from the agricultural products import and export to improve income,in the view of the specific situation of the central region,this paper puts forward policy suggestions for the development of agricultural mechanization,the appropriate implementation of land circulation,and the development of labor intensive agricultural products.For the western region,according to the conclusions of the empirical part,put forward the suggestion that the western region needs to improve the education level.Then in view of the characteristics of the local agricultural production,put forward to enhance the brand awareness of agricultural products,and support the brand building of special products.
