An Empirical Analysis Of Changes In The Economic Growth Of Fujian Province Based On The SDA

Fujian province,as a major part of Haixi Economy Zone,based on geographical advantages and policy support,is strengthening its comprehensive economic power and shows a favorable picture of economic growth has accelerated,economy benefit has improved since 30 years of reform and opening up.At far,compared with other advanced provinces in our country on economy growth,there is still a large gap.Economic growth has always been a major focus of economists,however most studies focus on economic growth using the Cobb Douglas function,regression model,technical exogenous model.For scholars,structural decomposition analysis model is barely used especially combined with input-output analysis to study economy growth.For the purple of analyzing problems existed during economy growth of Fujian province by empirical analysis,and quantitative analyzing the contribution rates of all factors on economy growth,providing reference for decision-making parts,this study establishes six comparable input-output tables of 1987,1992,1997,2002,2007 and 2012,using input-output analysis and structural decomposition analysis to study changes in economy growth of Fujian province from the views of initial investment and final demand.On account of six comparable input-output tables,this study analyzes Fujian province's economy from two aspects.The first aspect is analyzing economy growth from eight major dimensions which are overall quantity dependencies,allocation and usage status,industrial properties,industry relations,production induced effect and economy benefit.The second aspect is,based on the views of combining the original input with final demand and using structural decomposition analysis(SDA),disintegrating economy growth changes of Fujian province to five factors,which are initial investment structure,technical inputs,total final demand,final demand distribution,final demand structure.Then determine the influence of these five factors to analyze changes in Fujian province's economic growth.The empirical results shows there are various problems of Fujian province,such as serious imbalance among industrial structures,few high value-added industry,low economic efficiency of main industries,unbalanced industrial relevance,unbalanced induced effect of final demand structure,unstable factors influence and large differences in leading factors of departments.Therefore,this study advocates we should focus on quantity as well as quantity,promote industrial upgrading,highlight the key points,facilitate adjustment of industrial nature,accelerate consumption and investment demand,get rid of dependence on trade and provide differentiated policy support to facilitate the rapid and high-quality development in economy growth of Fujian province in the future.
