Shanxi Province,as the coal energy base in China,has been at the highest level of carbon emission intensity in China for many years.To a large extent,the intensity and speed of controlling carbon dioxide emissions in Shanxi Province affects the time and degree of realizing the goal of low-carbon economic development in China.In the process of production,there exists the exchange of intermediate products.In the process of product exchange,energy consumption is accompanied by the flow of carbon emissions.This forms the correlation of carbon emissions between industries.If the carbon emission relationship between industrial sectors due to product exchange and distribution is ignored in the formulation of low-carbon emission reduction policies.It will be difficult to achieve the overall emission reduction target of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.Therefore,to explore the carbon emission correlation between industrial sectors plays a positive role in rational industrial layout,green development,energy conservation and emission reduction.In this article,the industrial sectors of Shanxi Province are taken as the research object.The input-output tables in 2007,2012 and 2017 are used as the basis to compile the input-output tables of comparable prices.On this basis,from the perspective of industrial carbon emission correlation,input-output model was used to analyze the correlation characteristics of carbon emissions of industrial sectors.Then the complex network analysis method was used to explore the industries that play a key role in carbon reduction.The government can use the influence and control of core industries to promote coordinated emission reduction of the entire industrial system.I offer suggestions for promoting shanxi’s industrial restructuring,low carbon economic development and high quality transformation development.The main research conclusions are as follows :(1)From the carbon emission characteristics of the three major industries in Shanxi Province,the secondary industry has the largest carbon emissions,its direct carbon emissions accounted for about 80%,and the direct carbon emissions showed a gradually rising trend.However,both the growth rate and the proportion of direct carbon emissions are decreasing.The tertiary industry ranks second in carbon emissions,and its direct and indirect carbon emissions and the proportion of carbon emissions are rising.The carbon emission intensity of the secondary industry is the largest but shows a decreasing trend.(2)From the perspective of carbon emission characteristics of industrial sectors in Shanxi Province,the direct and indirect carbon emissions of metal smelting and calendering industry ranked first in 2007,2012,2017.And the indirect carbon emissions of construction industry also ranked top three.Industrial sectors with high direct carbon emission intensity mainly include oil and natural gas extraction and chemical industry.Industrial sectors with high indirect carbon emission intensity include instrument manufacturing and construction.It shows that these industrial sectors need to improve industrial efficiency and realize the transformation of industrial structure.In addition,the carbon intensity of most industrial sectors has decreased.(3)The correlation analysis of carbon emissions from industrial sectors in Shanxi Province can be concluded that the weighted economic influence coefficient and sensitivity coefficient of chemical industry,metal smelting and calendering industry,power and heat production and supply industry,as well as the weighted influence coefficient and sensitivity coefficient of carbon emission are all greater than 1 in 2007,2012,2017.It shows that these industrial sectors can be used as the pillar industries of Shanxi Province to promote economic development,but in the production process,they will drive and promote other industrial sectors to produce more carbon emissions.The overall and coordinated development of these industrial sectors needs to be fully considered.(4)The network density of the association network of industrial carbon emissions in Shanxi Province in the three years kept at about 0.45,the average path length was 1.490,1.322 and1.397,and the clustering coefficients were 0.665,0.672 and 0.655,respectively,which conforms to the characteristics of a small world.Chemical industry,coal mining and washing industry,construction industry have high point intensity,betweenness centrality,closeness centrality in these three years.It shows that these industrial sectors are at the core of the carbon emission correlation network in Shanxi Province.(5)The analysis of network condensed subgroups can conclude that there are clustering phenomenons in industrial sectors,and the correlation relationship of carbon emissions within the subgroups can be used to achieve the effect of coordinated emission reduction of the entire industrial system.
