In recent years,the study about academic entrepreneurship has gained increasing attention under the background of government encouraging the entrepreneurship and innovation of scientific and technological talents.However,there has been a gap between market and academic achievement in our country for a long time.For example,there are huge amount of academic achievement with good application prospect that haven't been transferred into productivity effectively.Therefore,the promotion of entrepreneurship of teachers in university has been a continuous focus of certain government department.Many studies has proved the direct prediction effect of entrepreneurial intention to entrepreneurial behavior,while studies of social network have gradually caused the attention of scholars.Although existing studies emphasize the important role of social network plays in inspiring entrepreneurial intention,some problems remains:firstly,most of the existing studies set university students as the research object rather than university teachers;secondly,existing studies divide the dimension of social network on network structure rather than different relevant network content.In addition,the empirical studies of mechanism between them is rare.Based on the above reasons,this paper chooses the aspect of network content to study the influence of different types of social network on the entrepreneurial intention of university teachers and to explore the mediation mechanism of entrepreneurial attitude between social network and entrepreneurial intention.With the reviewing of relevant theory foundation of academic entrepreneurship,social network,entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial intention,this paper put forward the research hypothesis and theoretical model.Then with the reference of foreign studies,this paper establishes the measurement scale and uses exploratory factor analysis for scale item screening to form the final questionnaire.Through the questionnaire survey of 218 university teachers in Nanjing and the usage of SPSS and AMOS for empirical analysis,we conduct the following conclusions:1.Different dimensions of social network(personal network,governmental network and business network)has significant positive influence on entrepreneurial intentions of university teachers.2.Entrepreneurial attitude plays an intermediary role in the influence of different dimensions of the social network(personal network,governmental network and business network)on university teachers' entrepreneurial intentions.
