Research Influencing Factors Of County Farmers' Consumption Level In Fujian Province

Consumption is one of the main driving force of economic growth,at the beginning of the "13th Five-Year" planning period,the central government pointed out that the important task is to complete the transformation of the mode of economic development,to rely on consumption,investment and exports to coordinate the economic development.As of 2015,China's total rural population of 603 million 460 thousand people,accounting for China's total population of 43.9%,the rural market has a huge potential for consumption,the centralgovernment has focused on how to develop the rural economic problems in the "Central No.1 Document" for many years.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the level of farmers' consumption so that the government can solve the problem of insufficient rural consumption demand in china.Fujian province is located in the eastern coastal areas of China,across the sea from Taiwan province,is Chinese important estuary.However,Fujian province is a coastal province with unbalanced development of county economy.Therefore,based on the Fujian Province,the study on the consumption level of county farmers is a representative of the research.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)based on the data of farmers' consumption in Fujian province from 2002 to 2015,analyzes the present situation of consumption level and consumption structure in Fujian Province,and learnes the changing law and the present situation of the farmers' consumption in Fujian Province;(2)based on the domestic scholars research on Farmers' consumption results,combined with the consumption status of farmers in Fujian Province,through the Pearson correlation test,find the factors that may affect the farmer consumption level of counties in Fujian province;(3)using panel data from 2005 to 2014 in 67 counties of Fujian Province,to construct the spatial panel model,the influencing factors of the farmer consumption level of counties in Fujian province empirical analysis,in order to seek effective ways to improve peasants' consumption level in the county of Fujian province.The main conclusions of this paper are:(1)in recent years,the income of rural residents in Fujian province has been increasing,and the consumption level has been improving.The gap between the consumption level of urban and rural residents shows a decreasing trend,however,the income level of rural residents is still low,which restricts the improvement of rural residents' consumption level to a certain extent;(2)in the consumption structure of rural residents,food consumption is still in the first place,but the Engel coefficient is gradually declining,indicating that the living standard of farmers in Fujian is getting better and better,residential and traffic communications are the largest consumer expenditure besides food expenditure for rural residents,farmers' medical care expenditure is increasing,change a small proportion of clothing and household equipment and supplies consumption in the consumption structure of rural residents,the proportion of education and entertainment and other consumer spending continues to decline,showed that the consumption structure of farmers in Fujian province still belongs to the survival consumption structure.(3)the county of Fujian province farmer consumption level there is significant spatial correlation,and the space effect in strengthening;(4)in the counties of rural residents per capita income level,education level and the economic development level improve will not only promote the county's rural residents' consumption level,but also to promote the consumption of rural residents and other adjacent county level;(5)in the counties of the third industry development will not only promote the county's rural residents' consumption level,will not promote the other adjacent county rural residents' consumption level.
