With the rapid development of economic globalization,science and technology are changing all the time,the problems and challenges faced by enterprises not only from the outside,but also from the internal management issues,the increasingly fierce competition put a higher claim on the level of organizational leadership behavior.As China's cultural background is different from the Western countries,the paternalistic style of leadership in the Chinese enterprises is the mainstream of the leadership,how to correctly use the paternalistic style of leadership becomes a important issues to many companies.And the process of enterprise competition in the creation of value,the rational allocation of resources,mostly rely on knowledge workers to achieve.However,the deviant behavior of employees is more and more appear in the process of enterprise management.Deviant behavior not only brings serious economic benefits to the enterprise,but also exacerbates the difficulty of implementing the leadership.Empirical research has pointed out that higher organizational support can make employees more willing to actively cooperate and solve the problem,improve staff level of work and commitment to reduce the occurrence of employee deviant behavior.At present,scholars from different countries and regions have done a lot of research on paternalistic leadership and employee deviant behavior,but the relationship between paternalistic leadership and employee deviant behavior is still imperfect,and the role of intermediate mechanism needs to be supplemented.Therefore,it is important to explore the mechanism of paternalistic leadership and deviant behavior through organizational support,both in management practice and in theoretical research.Based on the existing literature,this paper establishes the model of research hypothesis,and takes 213 questionnaires to knowledge workers to fill in as the research object,uses SPSS software to carry on the empirical analysis to the data to study the relationship between paternalistic leadership,perceived organizational support and employee deviant behavior.Research indicates:First,the benevolent dimension ? the moral dimension of the paternalistic leadership,is negatively related to the employee deviant behavior,and theauthoritarian leadership has a positive related with the employee deviant behavior.Second,the benevolent?moral dimension of the paternalistic leadership is positively related to perceived organizational support,and authoritarian leadership has a negative related with organizational support.Third,perceived organizational support is negatively related to employee deviant behavior.Last,perceived organizational support plays a mediating role between paternalistic leadership and employee deviant behavior.The results shows that when managers use the power to manage employees,they should also use a variety of kind and moral role,so that employees will enhance their organizational support,and therefore,managers can avoid the authority of the leadership to reduce the sense of support and deviant behavior.
