Research On The Influencing Factors Of China's Urbanization Level And Its Regional Differentiation

Urbanization is necessary way to modernization,it is also a comprehensive means to promote the modern economy and social development.With the continuous development of economy and society,the urbanization is becoming more and more important in the economic development.Urbanization has become one of the key constraints for the economic growth and social progress of a country or a region.The law of the development of world economy shows that Urbanization and industrialization are the twin engines of economic development.In fact the relationship between the two is mutual promotion and common development.However,reform and opening up over the past 40 years,The process of urbanization in our country is always slower than that of industrialization,this largely restricts the sustainability of China's economic growth,and also has adverse impact on the transformation of China's economic development mode.On the other hand,our country is faced with the problem of the surplus of rural labor force and the income gap between urban and rural areas,Urbanization can effectively transfer the surplus rural labor force to the city and narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.Nobel prize winning economist,Stiglitz,proposed that China's urbanization and the new technological revolution led by the United States will be the two major events that will affect the human race in twenty-first Century,Therefore,it is very meaningful to study the influence factors of urbanization rate in China to promote the healthy and orderly development of Urbanization.Many factors affect the rate of urbanization in China,in this paper,through the collation of previous academic literature and combined with the specific situation in china,selecting the factor of Urban and rural per capita GDP gap,industrial structure,urban opening degree and urban service level and other factors to study on the influencing factors of urbanization process.In order to study the factors that affect the regional difference of Urbanization,dividing the province of China into east China,north China,central China,southern China,northeast,southwest and Northwest region in accordance with the provisions of the administrative division,analyzing the main factors that affecting the urbanization rate in different regions by panel data.Atlast,the author puts forward some ideas and Countermeasures to improve the level of urbanization in different regions.At last,putting forward some ideas to improve the level of urbanization in different regions.The aim is to provide scientific basis for promoting the healthy development of urbanization in China.
