Intellectual Property Management Of Commercial Banks

After China's accession to WTO, foreign multinational banks have entered China, in the process of competition with domestic banks, multinational banks have to seize the intellectual property as a tool of financial market in our country, brings a certain impact to the financial industry in China. In the case of Citibank, Citibank in 1996 to 2003 in the United States to China proposed 19 business method patent application, and these to domestic commercial banks is in a head-on blow. Compared with foreign multinational banks, started the work of intellectual property management of Commercial Bank of our country is late, whether in the sense of intellectual property management, or in the intellectual property management method with foreign multinational banks there is a big gap. But after entering twenty-first Century, China's commercial banks have begun to realize the importance of intellectual property, the bank increased the intellectual property management, and actively build intellectual property management system in accordance with the characteristics of commercial banks, in order to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises. In this paper, the A bank as an example, research on the intellectual property management system, hope to make a contribution to the Commercial Bank of our country intellectual property management and healthy development.Firstly, the research background and significance, research status at home and abroad, the main research contents and methods are introduced; the definition of basic concepts of intellectual property rights, intellectual property rights and other commercial banks, and expatiates on the system of intellectual property management theory of commercial banks and intellectual property rights; on this basis, the A bank as an example, from the analysis of the main problems of the A Bank of intellectual property management situation and the five aspects of organization management, incentive mechanism, human environment, performance evaluation and information platform construction; the main problems existed in the A Bank of intellectual property management in the process of the strategy oriented, comprehensive and full participation of the basic principle of the intellectual property strategy planning, management establishment, management system construction, system construction and performance evaluation Five aspects of the construction of information platform to further optimize the A bank management system of intellectual property rights.The study found that the A Bank problem of lower intellectual property quantity and technical content is low, not the development of the strategic management of intellectual property, intellectual property management, weak awareness of intellectual property management organization and personnel, lack of related system is not perfect, the degree of information on management of intellectual property. To solve these problems, this paper is based on the A bank development strategy, formulate the A Bank of intellectual property strategy planning, the establishment of an independent intellectual property management departments, various departments clear responsibilities, improve relevant management system, the establishment of information system, intellectual property management office to OA based platform for strengthening bank management of intellectual property right construction of humanistic environment, and the construction of the evaluation system of the A Bank Strategic Performance Management of intellectual property rights.
