Based on the industrial engineering theory,the paper analyzes the current industry prospects of auto parts manufacturing,and proposes the lean production methods that can carry out industrial engineering and reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of the production.The study takes an example of improving the machining production line of ZH shaft steering knuckle company,discussing and investigating the application of lean production in China's auto parts enterprises.In this case,the research is the Jianghuai shaft steering knuckle production line,parts of production lines,mechanical processing equipment and components of the processing process.The study employed 5W1 H and ECRS method to analysys knuckle production and processing process and renovate the assembly line form of The Ministry of mechanical processing.Meantime,on the basis of Zero-in testing method and the three-times standard deviation method,the study eliminated the abnormal value and assessed steering knuckle line via the stabilization method.According to the analysis of human-mechine figure,the factory can judge the effect of the shift conversion,production line arrangement and the existing energy to the overall production line.Moreover,the company can consider the design which adjusts the operation of production line when the arrangment of the production line is unreasonable for workers.Finally,the paper analyzed and evalued the production line to achieve the balance optimization based on the public notice collocation optimization and all factors integrated are considered to design the layout of the production line.At the same time,the paper adopts the Quest simulation to optimize production line to select the optimal solution.And then through the adjustment of the production line layout and guide lines of reformation,the company can improve a series of achievements at the aspects of reducing in the product,increasing the speed of flow,improving productivity and reducing the workers labor intensity.
