Employee incentive system is part of the corporate system, which has been in rapid development in large and medium-sized enterprises around the world in recent years,. Due to the promotive, motivating responsive and risky characteristics of employee motivation, when large-scale employees flow into the company, it will bring enormous challenges to normal and stable operation of enterprises. So more and more researchers have paid attention to the study of employee incentive system.This paper takes the employee incentive system of Company N in our country for research objects, and discuss the shortage of current employee incentive system of Company N in detail. The status of content-based incentive theory, process incentive theory and corporate culture motivation have been reviewed and summarized. Content-based incentive theory are explained in three aspects, namely, the hierarchy of needs theory, achievement theory and two-factor theory, and illustrated with comprehensive comparison table. Process incentive theory are explained in three aspects, namely, expectation theory, equity theory and comprehensive theory of motivation, and illustrated with comprehensive comparison table. Corporate culture motivation are explained in three levels, namely, spiritual level, institutional level and material level, and illustrated with comprehensive comparison table.Firstly, the profile, organizational structure and personnel composition of Company N has been fully explained; the pros and cons of the impact of current employee incentive system have been studied in aspects of physical and spiritual level. To better understand the status of company's employee incentive system, a questionnaire has been implemented, and results of the investigation are in-depth analysis. Finally, the problem, as well as its cause, of current employee incentive system can be concluded as follow:(1) the problem is mainly reflected in the four aspects:incentive payment did not work, performance appraisal is a mere formality, training is lack of pertinence and systematic, and daily management system is not perfect. (2) the reason is mainly reflected in two aspects:the lack of corporate culture, the lack of scientific salary system.Secondly, a new employee incentive system are designed for Company N in detail, from the aspect of the design objectives, design ideas and design principles respectively. Taking protecting the interests of employees as the goal, setting asking questions, analysis of the problem and solving the problem as train of thought, taking five design principles as the basis, the company's employee incentive system are planed to have all-round improvement.Thirdly, based on the optimal design of employee incentive system, in order to use the incentive means correctly, to avoid pitfalls, to play its positive role, to improve staff efficiency and increase corporate value, the 5th Chapter explained the implementation of designed employee incentive system.Finally, the entire contents of this paper are summarized. The shortcomings of existing employee incentive system were summed up and several improvement strategies are put forward. It will bring important guiding significance to the development of employee incentive system in the future.
