In order to inspire team motivation and potential, most scholars focus on team creativity studying(Gong,Kim,Lee,& Zhu,2013).Previous studies often value the impact of team cognitive dimensions on creativity, such as team composition(Sornech & Drach-Zahavy,2013).However,as employees' affect becomes more and more prominent in social interaction, the effect of team affective dimensions, especially as group affective tone,on creativity have been noticed(eg,George & Zhou,2002;Tsai,Chi,Grandey,& Sy-chifung,2012;Shin,2014).In addition, the rising importance of subgroup research also shows that exploring team management only on team-level is not enough anymore. Therefore,it is very important to effectively combine the subgroups and team affective dimension to explore the impact of them on team creativity.Based on previous studies on subgroups and group affective tone, this study attempts to explore the influence of subgroups and team affective dimension on team creativity. To be specific, this study tends to explore the relationship among subgroups, team members' affect(positive or neutral)and team creativity,as well as the relationship among subgroup balance(balance or imbalance),subgroup affective tone(positive or neutral)and team creativity. In general, this research adopts the experimental method, and analyzes data collected in the experiment by using SPSS to test the above-mentioned research contents.Main conclusions as following: subgroup balance and subgroup affective tone will interact with each other to affect team creativity;when knowledge-based subgroups(knowledge)exist in the team, balanced subgroups and subgroups' positive affective tone will foster team creativity;when team members have neutral affect, the team with knowledge-based subgroups is less creative than teams without subgroups. The results of this study enrich the existing research and provide practical guidance and relevant value for the modern enterprise management to some degree.
