Research On The Relationship Between Intellectual Capital And Ambidextrous Innovation

In the era of knowledge economy,innovation and knowledge management become more important in the process of the enterprise operation.Intellectual Capital is gradually replacing traditional resource such as land and capital and become enterprises'core resource.How to develop intellectual capital and maintain advertages become important issue in western management research.In this paper,we discuss the trend of intellectual capital in automobile manufacturing industry and illustrates the relationship between intelluectual capital and enterprise innovation.This paper also recogizes the different mechanism between exploration Innovation,exploitation Innovation and intellectual capital.First,this paper collect related document about Intellectual capital and illustrate the concepts,structures and measures methods of IC(intelluectal capital).Then,the paper propose the hypothesis on how intelluectal effect on Exploration Innovation and exploitation Innovation.At last,we collect 82 listed enterprises in automobile manufacturing industry from 2012 to 2014 as samples and use multiple linear regression analysis to exam the hypothesis above.In the respect of research designs,this paper use quantitative method to measure intellectual capital and ambidextrous innovation and adopt objective indicators to construct the model referred to relationship between intellectual capital and ambidextrous innovation.To avoid systematic distortion in questionnaire survey,in this study,we measure intellectual capital by comprehensive evaluation and measure ambidextrous innovation by patent evaluation.In the term of research object,consulting SHENYIN&WANGUO INC classification method,we collect 82 listed enterprises in automobile manufacturing industry from 2012 to 2014 as samples.In the term of research method,we testify the influence mechanism how the human capital,structure capital,relationship capital effect on exploration innovation and exploitation innovation by using multiple linear regression analysis.The result prove that,Human capital,structure capital and relationship capital have positive effect on exploration innovation.Intellectulal capital become the key resource of enterprise and determine wether the company adopt the exploitation innovation or not.Human capital and structure capital have positive effect on exploitation innovation.Relationship capital has an inverted U type relationship with exploration innovation.Relationship capital has optimal level that can lead most out of exploration innovation.Based on above conclusion,this paper suggests that enterprises should regard intellectual capital as key resource and accumulate intellectual capital in the innovation process.On the other hand,this study suggest enterprises should comprehend the classification of innovation and make strategic decision properly.
