Research On Liaoning Province Enterprise Employee’s Main Positive Personality Traits

Abstract/Summary:
The process of economic globalization and diversification in 21 st century make human resources become the core element of the development of the enterprise.Taking pressure from intense competition among enterprise in the international market economy has led to enterprise employee’s many psychological problems and personality defect.It also has required the enterprise managers with a global view to analyze and find out the measures to improve the quality and stability of the employee.At the same time,the enterprise employee also want to take full use of their advantage and personality meet their job requirements,to face on and deal with workplace pressure and focus on selfimproving.With the rapidly growth of the development in the field of positive psychology,especially positive personality,more and more experts and scholars have verified the relationship between personality trait and job performance,job satisfaction,turnover intention… Many enterprise managers have started to pay more attention to personality trait and regard it as one of the important requirement for admission and talent selection.Based on relevant theories and previous research results,these study takes Seligman’s positive personality trait as the theoretical basis and used to empirical the research method to explore the situation of Liaoning province employee’s 10 main positive personality traits,which include curiosity,love of learning,kindness,citizenship,fairness,forgiveness and mercy,gratitude,hope,spirituality,zest.Firstly,this study makes reviewing of the positive personality traits theory.Secondly,this study used SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software to make the reliability and validity of the questionnaire test,descriptive analysis,analysis of the difference between independent variable and dependent variable.After careful empirical data test and analysis,this study can get the conclusions as follows: Liaoning province employee’s 10 main positive personality traits,overall in the medium level.Specifically,forgiveness and mercy,hope are at the low level;kindness,fairness,spirituality are just so-so;curiosity,love of learning,citizenship,gratitude,zest are above the average.Meanwhile,there are significant differences between Liaoning province employee’s 10 main positive personality traits and gender,marital status,political status,age,working years,position and type of enterprise.After that,the authors point out the most 6 problems in Liaoning province employee’s in 10 main positive personality traits and produce the corresponding solution.At the end,making the analysis and reflection on some problems existing in the research and providing a reference for the follow-up related research deployment.
