Research On Humanistic Care During The Process Of Citizenization Of Migrant Workers

With the continuous acceleration of China's industrialization and urbanization processes,it can be said that the topic of urbanization has become an issue concerned by the current Chinese academic society and government sectors at all levels.Urbanization not only refers to the gradual increase in the number of cities and population and the ceaseless expansion in urban space,but also consists of the transformation of human's lifestyle and the change of group roles from peasants to citizens.Thus,the role change from peasants to citizens leaded to the issue of citizenization of migrant workers.However,during the process of citizenization of migrant workers,human's own development and need are neglected because we blindly attach importance to the urban size and population expansion.Besides,in the past,people held the theoretical assumption that "cities are superior to rural areas",the issue of citizenization of migrant workers was simplified into the issue of "change in one's family register";for this reason,peasants' characteristics also became the factors of being negative and backward to be thoroughly altered.This paper believes that peasants' change in their family register will not directly lead to their integration into cities and the most fundamental point is to emphasize migrant workers' active integration into the city with respect to their basic living and occupational skills,civilization,quality,thought,psychological fitness etc.so that they can be developed in an all-around way and can have their abilities promoted comprehensively.Meanwhile,the citizenization of migrant workers should not change blindly according to the urban standard.The migrant workers' excellent qualities such as diligence,simplicity,good-neighborness and friendliness are very precious in today's society,so such qualities should be carried forward and inherited during their citizenization process.Therefore,this issue must be based on peasants' real need and their own characteristics.The Marxist humanology systematically and deeply interprets the existence,essence,need and development of human.Its logical starting point is "the realistic individuals who get engaged in practical activities in certain social relations";its core of thought is the essence of human;its destination of values is human's free and comprehensive development.The Marxist humanology has profoundly revealed the basic law of human's existence and development in the course of history from the above-mentioned three aspects,so it is the theoretical foundation of this paper.Based on the theoretical foundation above,this paper believes that the citizenization of migrant workers is not a process that peasants blindly change according to the urban standard but a process to explore the real need of their integration with cities from the starting point of facilitating migrant workers' free and comprehensive development,analyze migrant workers' existing positive and negative factors by making comparisons based on such needs,then show humanistic care for them,give full play to their positive factors,and overcome and change their negative factors so as to help them to better integrate into cities.On the one hand,migrant workers have the positive factors,such as diligence,simplicity,ability to ensure hardships,good-neighborness,friendliness,righteousness,filial piety and fraternal duty,to help them integrate into cities,so such positive factors should be continued and inherited.On the other hand,they also have the problems such as lack of occupational and living skills,low civilization quality,backward ideology and inadequate mental adaptability.Based on the analysis above,the current citizenization of migrant workers should consider the Marxist humanology as its theoretical foundation,take human's free and comprehensive development as its final objective,adhere to the fundamental principle of people first,and make joint efforts regarding concept change,institutional innovation,quality training,subject consciousness raising and many other aspects so as to facilitate the comprehensive development and promotion of migrant workers'qualities and propel the realization of citizenization of migrant workers.
