Study On The Adjustment Of Shanxi Industrial Structure Under The Pressure Of Economic Down-regulation

In recent years,with the gradual opening up of economic policy,the global economy has gradually become an economic community,more opportunities have brought more severe challenges,such as irrational industrial structure,inefficient industrial structure,which are magnified indefinitely under the global competitive market environment,has become the decisive factor which determine the economic development of a country or region.As a resource-based region,Shanxi Province has been too dependent on coal resources,the Government's major investment and the focus of the development of enterprises are coal industry and related industries,which in itself store up trouble for the province's economic sustainable development.In recent years of Shanxi Province,the economic downward pressure continues to increase,while the global advocacy and active research and development focus on clean energy.In this context,the simplicity of industry structure and the inefficient industry issues completely exposed,Shanxi economy plummeted.Based on this grim situation,from the point of view of improving the total factor productivity of the industry,this paper analyzes the situation of the total factor productivity of the industrial structure of Shanxi,and combines the national policy and the local reality,to provide corresponding policy recommendations for optimizing the industrial structure of the province and improving the total factor productivity.Besides,the report take account of the current stage and long-term development,which has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the relevant economic theories and methods of regional economics,industrial economics,econometrics,input-output economics,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the industrial development of Shanxi Province which based on the purpose of improving the total factor productivity and optimizing the industrial structure,and then identify the existing problems,combined with the actual,put forward some policy recommendations.First of all,this paper introduces the background,purpose and significance of the topic,the research status at home and abroad,clarifies the relevant theories and concepts,and solves and explain the breakthrough points and innovation points of this paper.And then,I analysis the relevant policy theory,including industrial optimization theory,total factor productivity theory and strategic emerging industry theory,to provide theoretical andpolicy basis for the optimization of industrial structure in our province.In order to make the theory more reliable,we use the panel data to estimate the total factor productivity of our province.According to the data,find out industry whose total factor productivity is relatively higher or lower.And then continue to analyze the factors that affect the total factor productivity and analyze the influencing factors and influence the mechanism and influence degree.After two parts of the empirical analysis,to find the current problems in our province,and then provide industrial policy optimization policy recommendations based on the choice of industry and improve the total factor productivity.This paper shows that the total factor productivity of coal industry in our province is very low,and it is declining year by year.The total factor productivity of information industry,science and technology industry,manufacturing industry and education industry is relatively high.Therefore,the coal industry in our province must deepen the reform,combined with strategic emerging industries,vigorously develop the coal chemical industry,improve the technical content of the coal industry and fine,improve the industry's total factor productivity.And information technology and other industries need to be given high priority to supporting due to high factor productivity.the empirical results show that the educational level of the laborers and the development level of the private enterprises have a positive effect on the improvement of the total factor productivity level in the province,both in the short and long term,and the level of technological development in the short term will hinder the improvement of the efficiency of industrial structure to a certain extent,but in the long term,it have positive effect of the improvement of industrial structure efficiency.The reason why there will be negative in the short term,mainly because of technological innovation itself,the return on investment the cycle is relatively long,in the short term will take up a lot of money,which to some extent affected the level of investment in other industries,but in long-term perspective,the level of technological innovation will bring greater returns.Therefore,to promote the province's industrial structure efficiency,three carriages who can not less.
