A Social Work Interventional Study On The Weak-in-employment Of The "Villager To City Dweller" Residents

With the rapid development of the China's urbanization,the “villager to city dweller” project happens everywhere.Featured by the transition of the plowland and the homestead,this projuct moves the farmer away from their land,brings them to city to accept the new environment and lifestyle.During this process,the “villager to city dweller” residents are confronted with the identity transition,meanwhile,they are also faced with the transition from the agricultural industry to the second and third industry.After the “willager to city dweller” project,those who are equipt with high quality,strong ability to adapt,skills,and understanding of the policy could rely on their own ability to be re-employed smoothly and get used to the new environment quickly;while,those who aren't,would loss the land and the job,and eventually become the new employment difficult group,and their situation would be worse than before.Since employment is fundemental to people's livehood,the effect of the tansition of “villager to city dweller” is determined in some way by the re-employment of such residents,especially of the group with difficulty in hunting job.During the process of urbanization,it is necessary to make sure the “villager to city dweller” residents live a steady life.Yangling Demonstration Zone,as the first agricultural high-techdemonstration zone in China,is representative for the urbanizaiton with the “villager to city dweller” mode;and the Wenxin community,as the first “villager to city dweller” community in Yangling,possesses a considerable reference significance for the study.Meanwhile,although it's of great value for the “villager to city dweller” residents' re-employment that to interfer in such residents,to link the goverment policy with the community training and improvement of residents' personal abiliby with the perspective of social work,it's discovered through the present related theory study and the field research,that the studies of the re-epployment of the “villager to city dweller” residents are maily explored from the perspective of management,jurisprudence,etc,seldom of them are reserched from the perspective of social work.This thesis takes Wenxin community in Yangling demonstration zone as an example,through the social work interventional study of the weak-in-employment group of the “villager to city dweller” residents,with the guidance of the social support theory,enhanced power theory and the ecological system theory,using the group and community socialwork mode,to illustrate and analyze two methods to get involved in the whole process of the re-employment.The groop social work mode improves the mental adaptation and the Vocational quality of those weak-in-employment “villager to city dweller” residents to get re-employed,and the community social work mode enhances their ability to be re-employed.The intervention of the social work exerts a positive effect on the re-employment of such residents.As a result,the employability gets enhanced,the economic situation is improved,the needs of re-employment is better satisfied,and the intervention ofsocial work provides references for other areas to realize the smooth re-employment of the “villager to city dweller” residents.
