Since the 21st century,the rapid development of tourism at home and abroad,coastal tourism at home and abroad has become one of the most popular tourist resort,for coastal tourism research will continue to be one of the hot tourism research.In the past,most of the researches on coastal tourism were concerned with the theme of tourism resources.However,with the advent of the experience economy,the attention of tourists was more important,especially for tourists’ perception.According to the World Tourism Organization statistics show that in 2007 the global coastal tourism revenue accounted for 1/2 of the total tourism revenue,10 times more than 10 years ago,the world’s 40 major tourist destinations in 37 coastal countries or regions,The total tourism income of these countries accounted for 80%of the total global tourism revenue,indicating that coastal tourism in the country and the world’s development trend are of concern.Therefore,this paper chooses Pattaya as the research object of the world famous coastal tourist destination,and has carried on the preliminary discussion and the research to Patriya tourists’ perception.Thailand is located in the Indochina Peninsula is a traditional tourist country with a strong customs,beautiful natural scenery,rich cultural landscape.According to the Thai Tourism Board statistics,the number of tourists traveling to Thailand continues to increase.From 15841683 in 2010 to 19914 in 2014,the growth rate of up to 7.59%.Pattaya,known as"Oriental Hawaii",is a shining pearl on the Thai tourist chain.Pattaya is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Thailand.It is located in the east of Thailand,with rich land and sea attractions.It is famous for its sunshine,sandy beaches,seafood,cheap consumption,indulgent nightlife and characteristic demons.The coastal tourist resort attracts a large number of tourists from Thailand and abroad every year to take vacation and leisure to create a lot of income for people.The Thai government attaches great importance to the development of tourism,in addition to the development of a series of relevant tourism laws to strengthen the management of the tourism industry,but also developed a series of preferential policies for investment.Thailand tourism management and hotel accommodation construction,tourism services have been recognized and praised around the world,but with the development of the world’s tourism,the world will appear many emerging tourism markets such as China,Vietnam,etc.,will appear like culture Tourism,eco-tourism,global tourism and other new concept of tourism,Pattaya will be confronted with fierce competition and challenges,such as Pattaya Ya in the status quo,is likely to be eliminated in the fierce competition,Pattaya sleepless Myth may also cease to exist.Based on the questionnaire survey,this paper points out that Pattaya has a lot of room for improvement in visitor perception,and provides reference and experience for the development of other similar tourist destinations in Thailand.Since the 20th century,90 years,customer perceived value has become a marketing scholar and business managers common concern hot spots.To create outstanding value for customers is the key to building the core competitiveness of enterprises.The so-called customer perception theory is a perception of a product or service that is a subjective judgment of the value of a product or service.Customer travel perception is a direct response to tourists’ perception of tourism products.The perception of tourist destination determines the choice,evaluation and satisfaction of tourist destination.But also related to the quality of tourism products,tourism market and development and tourism destination for sustainable development.Therefore,the study of tourists’ perception in coastal tourism area is of great practical significance to improve the quality of coastal tourism.The research focus of coastal tourists’ tourist perception is to analyze the factors that affect the perception of tourists.On this basis,we should study the domestic and foreign research status of related theories such as coastal tourism and visitor perception theory.And lists the factors that affect the perception of tourists,there are natural factors and human factors,and through expert advice,the impact of factors were revised,the final design of the questionnaire.And as a basis for the Pattaya tourism tourists to investigate,through friends and relatives to share online survey,the questionnaire will be sent to Pattaya beach at home and abroad tourists,while the tourists for Pattaya’s perception.Analyze factors that affect visitor perception such as tourism environment,tourism service quality,infrastructure,etc.,and put forward the current problems in the development of Pattaya tourism and the improvement of Pattaya coastal tourism.This paper is divided into six parts,which introduces the origin and historical profile of the tourist city of Pattaya,and traveled through the tourism-related data such as the number of foreign tourists traveling to Thailand and the total tourism revenue,stay at Pattaya Tourist Hotel.The number of visitors to Pattaya,the number of visitors to Pattaya and the average length of stay,Pattaya tourism revenue and the average spending of visitors.The preliminary development of the status quo of Pattaya’s tourism development,and pointed out the development goals of Pattaya’s urban tourism and how to enhance the competitiveness of urban tourism from the perspective of tourists’ perception.
