Optimization Of Manufacturing Processes In Company M Based On Lean Production

With the development of modern industry,people concern more and more about cost.Advanced management theories and practices are refined and improved.Lean production is accepted and applied extensively.Many famous companies have applied lean production,and gained high economic benefit,such as Toyota Motor Company,Ford Motor Company and IBM.For companies,successful implementation of lean production is one of important ways to achieve competitiveness and successful factor to be world class.In this thesis,the development of Lean production,domestic application situation and improvement tools are introduced firstly.The current situation and the customer requirement are considered in the anlysis of the manufacturing processes of company M.Four issues are concluded: the time of changeover product is too long,production line is imbalanced,performance test #1 is lack of standardization,reject rate of welding is too high.A series of improvement methods are proposed using SMED,ECRS principle,IE methods etc.The effectiveness of the optimization scheme is verified by the data validation.The manufacturing process of company M has been optimized to meet the customer requirements,improve accuracy and reduce cost.The reseach and structural optimization can provide an approach for the further development of the Manufacturing Process of company M.
