Analysis Of The Supply-demand Situation Of The World's Tungsten Resources

From the perspective of supply and demand,this paper mainly analyzes supply-side factors such as reserves,production,demand side factors such as application and consumption,and also analyzed the historical price law and trends at the same time.Finally,quantitative predicted the demand of tungsten resources in the future by the math method and the prediction method of the mineral resources of the Chinese geological sciences.This paper also takes into account the characteristics of Chinese resource demand,and studies the supply and demand situation of China's tungsten resources.Finally,it provides some suggestions and countermeasures for the long-term value investors of tungsten resources and its practitioners.The comprehensive study conclusion is as follows:1)China's tungsten production accounted for 82% in the world And Russia,Canada,Austria,Bolivia is also the important producer and exporter.The United States,Japan and Western Europe is the major importer of tungsten;The cash cost of tungsten metal is between 8 and 10 million / ton;China's second resource utilization level is behind of foreign countries;China can supply tungsten resources for the world about 26 years by the 1.9 million tons of reserves.In the short term,global tungsten resources supply is adequate,and in the medium and long term view,global tungsten resources supply is short.2)Tungsten is mainly used in the field of hard alloy and special steel.China tungsten demand will be in high-speed growth over the next 25 years.China will be still the biggest resource requirements country in the future.And ASEAN and India will become the mainly demand side,it will take some pressure for China tungsten supply.3)The most prominent period of global supply-demand contradiction for tungsten resources is in the next 10 to 20 years and the demand of tungsten will remain in 130 to 150 thousand tons in a long time.Global tungsten resource is scarcity and strategic non-renewable resources.Considering the resource safety,China should maintain a certain global supply situation and share the outside resources,strengthen the "going out" of the resources.4)China's demand for tungsten resources will be in the peak from 2025-2030,and it is an important period of transition for mineral resources and related industries to gradually move beyond China.Considering the chance of oversea resources utilization,China shoud transfer the mineral resources and related industries to asean and west Africa.The establishment of a resource supply base and getting excellent overseas resources is a long-term strategy for China...
