Research On Measurement And Influence Factors Of Poverty Vulnerability In China

Now the vulnerability of poverty has become an important research area in poverty research.First of all,starting from describe the current situation of poverty in various regions,due to the urban households' data which meet the requirements is relatively small,so this paper only focuses on the poverty of rural households in various regions,and then analysis the factors that influence on the vulnerability of rural households' poverty.Due to the data which is used to analysis the factors that influence on the vulnerability of rural households' poverty in various regions is based on CHNS,but the latest data is only for the year of 2011,it is not significant for predicting the vulnerability of households' poverty,so in this paper we obtain the data by sampling surveys in Da Xing District,and then measure the vulnerability of rural households'poverty.The study founds that no matter the poor households or the non poor households,Education,Health,Income,Household Appliances,Communication Equipment and Transportation are the influencing factors on the vulnerability of their poverty.The survey of rural households in Daxing district founds that 39.83%of the households in the survey will be the poor households in the future,the vulnerability of their poverty will be relatively high,and the two factors of Education and Health are still in a high degree of multidimensional poverty with the family.In this paper we use the comprehensive score of poverty vulnerability to compare the poverty vulnerability between the similar families,we find that it is not suitable for compare for the different kinds of families,it has some limitations and need to improve.
