The Impacts Of Sino-US Trade Friction On China's Export Of Steel Products To The United States

With the continuous progress and development of the times,the world economy stage is showing a different style every day,the competition between countries is becoming more and more intense,at the same time,trade friction also continues to heat up,continue to show new features.Trade friction is no longer just the product of trade competition between developed countries.In recent years,more and more developed countries and developing countries have also used trade friction to protect their industries from loss.Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States,the trade between the two countries has become more and more frequent,and the trade volume between the two countries has increased at a very rapid pace.China and the United States have been the second largest trading partner,the normal economic exchanges to the Sino-US political economy has brought great benefits.However,there is cooperation between countries and countries,there must be competition,and with the development of economic globalization,this trade competition will only become more intense,resulting in the increasing number of trade frictions.In recent years,the situation of China's steel production capacity is very serious,along with China's steel exports to the United States increased,Sino-US trade friction is also frequent,or even never stopped.In particular,after the financial crisis in 2009,trade frictions between the two countries are developing towards a worse trend.The United States trade remedy investigations initiated repeatedly to China's steel products in various ways,which gives China's steel product exports to the United States brought a certain degree of obstruction.Therefore,the study of Sino-US steel trade friction on China's exports of steel products to the United States is not only theoretical significance,but also a strong practical significance.First of all,this article did a lot of research about the related literature and historical materials at home and abroad,and research related to the historical facts.On the basis of previous studies,the concept,type and related trade friction theory are further elaborated.Secondly,after learning and mastering the concept and theoretical origin related to trade friction,this paper analyzes the current situation of the trade friction initiated by the United States on China's steel products,and further studies the main reasons for the United States to initiate trade frictions to China's steel products.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the impact of Sino-US steel trade friction on the export of steel products to the United States from three aspects:export scale,export structure and export competitiveness,starting from the theoretical aspects of Sino-US steel trade friction.Then,based on the theoretical analysis,the empirical model is used to analyze the impact of Sino-US steel trade friction on China's steel exports from the empirical point of view.Finally,based on the theoretical and empirical results,this paper puts forward the strategy of how to deal with the steel trade frictions between Chinese and American steel products from government,trade association and enterprise.China's government should establish and improve the relevant trade remedy laws and regulations,maintain the order of the normal steel export market,strengthen international cooperation and exchanges,and actively open up new trading partners for China's iron and steel enterprises,the government should also train a group of high-end talent,which know a lot about international law And the trade remedy law.Iron and steel industry associations should play the role of the main body of the industry,leading the domestic iron and steel enterprises to learn about steel trade friction related knowledge,led the domestic iron and steel enterprises to improve the export structure as soon as possible,led China's iron and steel enterprises to establish a complete set of trade friction early warning mechanism.The iron and steel enterprises themselves need to strengthen their own learning ability,improve the risk awareness of trade friction,actively respond to the trade friction,improve the level of production technology,adhere to the diversified development of export products and strengthen cooperation with foreign enterprises.
