With the increasing importance of the transportation industry in regional economic development,the evaluation of regional transportation capacity is becoming more and more important.In this paper,for the current transportation ability weak links to explore research.By joining time-series data will be two-dimensional data extended to three-dimensional data.The entropy weight method is used to determine the weight of the index,and the optimal solution(TOPSIS)is used to quantify the factors that affect the transportation capacity.And the relative importance degree of the comprehensive evaluation value is analyzed by using the multiple linear regression model.The weight of the comprehensive evaluation value is quadratic weighted by the HouJinBoGu normalization method,and the comprehensive evaluation value and sequencing of the transportation capacity of the eastern coastal areas in China from 2010 to 2014 are obtained.The results of the specific assessment are as follows:(1)On the whole,the development level of transportation capacity in 10 provinces and cities in the eastern coastal areas increased from 2010 to 2011.During the period from 2011 to 2012,the development level of their transport capacity was basically stable.After that,their transport capacity development trend fluctuated.(2)From the point of view of growth,the ranking of transportation capacity in Zhejiang and Hainan is increasing,indicating that the growth rate of transportation capacity is relatively large,and their development level is better;the ranking of Guangdong and Guangxi has declined,indicating that the growth of transport capacity is poor,their transportation system has problems in this period;the other six provincesand cities in the transport capacity of the rankings change little,indicating that their transport capacity in a good state of development.Finally,this paper uses the gray correlation analysis(GRA)to verify the calculation results of the transportation capacity of the ten coastal cities in the eastern coastal areas.The results show that the order of the transport capacity of the eastern coastal areas is: Guangdong,Jiangsu,Shandong,Zhejiang,Liaoning,Shanghai,Guangxi,Fujian,Tianjin,Hainan.
