Research On The Impact Of Industrial Structure Changes On Energy Intensity In Sichuan Province

Energy is an indispensable material basis for modern society,and all human activities are inseparable from energy.With the continuous development of society and economy,energy consumption is growing,and controlling of energy consumption has become an important task of China.The 13th five-year plan for energy development pays great attention to "double control," about energy consumption and energy intensity,puting forward the target that reducting 15%energy intensity.Sichuan has well economy and much energy,changing a great impact on China's energy intensity,The Sichuan's 13 th five-year plan for energy development develop a target that reducting 16%energy intensity.But Sichuan is still in the industrialization and urbanization,a high level of energy consumption restricts the reduction of energy intensity.How to reduce energy intensity in the process of industrialization and establishing energy-saving or clean energy economy is the top priority in Sichuan.Theoretical studies have shown that changes in industrial structure have an important impact on energy intensity.The empirical analysis shows that the change of the three industrial structures is closely related to energy intensity.The 2nd industry structure almost essentially determins the direction that industrial structures impact energy intensity.when the proportion of the 2nd industry decreased by one percentage point,Sichuan energy intensity will be reduced by about 1.3 percentage points;the inter-structure analysis found that the 2nd industry inter-structure is the main reasons not 1st or 3th industry.How to reduce the energy intensity?On the one hand,we must actively promote the upgrading of low-grade industrial structure,optimizing the internal structure of the secondary industry including accelerating the pace of development of the tertiary industry,promoting the agricultural supply side structural reform;On the other hand,improving the level of industrial technology to achieve industrial development;The same time,we should establish a clean energy development mechanism to improve the energy consumption structure.
