Dairy industry is a highly efficient livestock industry,which occupies an important position in national economy.Since the reform and opening-up,with the development of the national economy,China's dairy industry has been rapid development.But behind the rapid growth of the dairy industry,contradiction is more outstanding,mainly for the dairy industry agglomeration is low,the scale distribution of dairy enterprises is lopsided,the production efficiency is low,and trade deficit gradually has been expanding.In order to solve the contradiction in economic growth and accelerate the development of dairy industry,the government has launched a series of policies on reform and reorganization around the development of dairy industry in recent years.Under this objective background,it is imperative for the development of China's dairy industry to optimize the industrial structure,active to introduce advanced production technology and technology,strive to improve the independent innovation ability of dairy enterprises,fully improve production efficiency,accelerate the transformation of development mode,comprehensively promote the transformation of dairy industry from quantity expansion to quality and efficiency of the present.According to the traditional theory of economic growth,the power of economic growth comes from two aspects,one is the increase of the input of production factors,the other is the improvement of productivity.However,the input of factors of production is not sustainable,so entrepreneurs and scholars have focused their attention on how to improve production efficiency.And the most closely related to the production efficiency is the structure of the industry.Through the study of industrial agglomeration,total factor productivity and S-C-P,I find that most of these studies are just to measure the agglomeration effect and efficiency.There are few empirical studies on the relationship between industry agglomeration and efficiency in dairy industry.When they examine the impact of dairy industry agglomeration on efficiency,they did not take the endogeneity into account.In view of this,this paper is based on the previous research results,and it takes the panel data of 31 provinces in China for research objects.Firstly,I measure the level of dairy industry agglomeration from the perspective of producing areas and provinces.Then,I use the Malmquist index to analyze the changes and the growth pattern in the total factor productivity of the dairy industry.On this basis,I construct a fixed effect model to examine the impact of industrial agglomeration on total factor productivity.The conclusion is as follows:(1)China's dairy industry agglomeration is low and the regional difference is obvious;China's dairy industry agglomeration is low,the regional differences are obvious.(2)The growth momentum of total factor productivity in the dairy industry is strong,but the regional growth is uneven.(3)Technological progress and technical efficiency jointly promote the growth of total factor productivity in China's dairy industry,and the improvement of technical efficiency is becoming more and more obvious.(4)The loss of efficiency in the expansion of dairy enterprises is the main factor to suppress the growth of total factor productivity in China's dairy industry.(5)Industrial agglomeration promotes the growth of total factor productivity through scale efficiency in technological efficiency.Finally,based on the development of China's dairy industry and the empirical results of the development of China's dairy industry,I put forward relevant policy recommendations to promote the healthy development of China's dairy industry.
