The Business Performance Evaluation Of The Listed Electric Power Companies Based On Method Of DEA

Electric power industry is the foundation of the people's livelihood and national economy development strategy,plaing an important role in the promotion of national economy development and process.Our country is gradually implement the reform of electric power system,and the goal of the reform is to breaking the monopoly,to introducing competition,to improving the electricity price mechanism,to optimizing the allocation of resources.At present,the formation mechanism of electricity price in our country is in steady progress,and the construction of regional electricity market is gradually improved,as well the development of marketization in power industry have recieved some achievements.To evaluate the business performance of the listed electric power companies wil help to prompt the competitiveness of companies and improve the management level.The improvement of business performance of the listed electric power companies will promote the further development of electric power industry in our country.Establishing a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system will help to promote the effective regulation in the company and to reduce the operational risk,forming the perfect management model.This paper studied the theory and method of business performance evaluation,combining the industry characteristics of the listed electric power companies in our country,to analysis the influencing factors of business performance in the listed electric power companies.Established the overall framework of business performance evaluation system of the listed electric power companies,including the electricity price,the price of coal,corporate governance,operating management,policy of tax,environmental management.and then combining with the design principle of the evaluation system,refining the overall framework,building the business performance evaluation index system of the listed electric power companies in our country.And then selected the 43 electric power companies listed on stock markets of Shanghai and Shenzhen as the sample of research,using the two classical model CCR and BCC in DEA method.From the research,we can concluded the comprehensive level efficiency,pure technical efficiency and the scale efficiency of the business performance in the listed electric power companies.Analysis the stage of scale returns about the listed electric power companies,making the projection analysis in the DEA non-effective of the listed electric power companies.Finally,use the DEA-Malmquist productivity index method to analysis the dynamic trend of business performance of the listed electric power companies in our country in the years of 2012-2016.Decompose the Malmquist productivity index into the technical change,scale efficiency change,pure technical efficiency change,in order to better define the total factor productivity.Finally,through relevant model calculation and analysis,the paper concluded the comprehensive efficiency,the pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency levels of each sample.The research found that the overall performance of scale efficiency value in the listed electric power companies runs good,but the overall business performance is not high,and there remains big space to strengthen technological innovation and to improve the internal management mechanism,in order to improve the level of pure technical efficiency evaluation.According to the gap between the actual value and the target value,the paper analysis the direction and degree of input redundant about the decision making units of DEA non-efficient.The paper Analysised the dynamic change trend of business performance in listed electric power companies around the years of 2012-2016,obtaining the technical change,scale efficiency change,and pure technical efficiency change of each decision-making unit during the period of the research.To provide the actual data for the improvement of overall business performance level in listed electric power companies.
