On Jan 7th of 2016,the State Council of China authorized the“Suggestions on the Implementation of Policies and Measures Pertaining to the Development and Opening up of the Important Border Areas.".The Suggestions of NO.16 proposed to "research the development of cross-border tourism cooperation region,support the establishment of cross-border tourism cooperation region including Dongxing,Chongzhuo and other conditional areas".The establishment of cross-border tourism cooperation region is not only in accordance with national policies,but also has significant meaning as an important space of border region tourism development,which can motivate the innovation of tourism industry and promote the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.However,the economy,authority and social relationships have changed with the development of tourism,so the stakeholders of tourism destinations present the diversity.Due to the differences of interest demand in various subjects,it has formed kinds of identities,which will affect the sustainable development of tourism destinations.Based on the above background,this paper took the cross-border tourism cooperation region as research object,made a study of the identity of the local subjects.Firstly,collect and analysis the relevant literatures,make sure the research goals and contents,define the concepts of cross-border tourism cooperation region,local subject identity and tourism space production,then explain the using theories.Secondly,with the example of Dongxing in Guangxi,explore the construction path of subject relationship and identity of the cross-border tourism cooperation space production with qualitative research.Thirdly,analyze the specific identity indicators of the local residents and government with quantitative research(co-plot,progressive regression analyses).Finally,conclude the finding and results,put forward some concrete advice,and point out the shortages of this paper.Through researching,this paper has found:(1)there is a constantly refactoring of cross-border tourism cooperation space between multi-subjects'interest demand and identity;(2)the local subject identities can divide into four dimensionality,including economy identity,authority identity,social culture identity and emotion identity;(3)there are differences between the residents and governments in practical perception and expectation of different dimensions;(4)there is a positive relationship between the resident identity and the resident support of local tourism development,the degrees of influence are:power relation>emotional effect>economic benefit>social culture.Based on the results,this paper put forward some specific solutions and suggestions for the tourism development of Dongxing in Guangxi,hope to enhance the sense of identity of stakeholders,and promote the sustainable development of cross-border tourism cooperation region.
