The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the current situation of sustainable development of Shandong paper industry,and provide some suggestions for the sustainable development of Shandong paper industry.Chinese is the world papermaking country,Shandong province is China papermaking Province,the development of the papermaking industry into a strong vitality and economic development,but also brings the serious influence to regional environment,planning period in 13 th Five-Year pointed out that the road of sustainable development,implementation of all industrial pollution sources all Cycle,Assessment,LCA),is the research on the whole life cycle process based on an advanced and effective environmental management tool,the cradle to grave management,environmental impact analysis to quantify the entire process of product system,to find the maximum link and main pollution impact on the environment,to provide improvement suggestions for the sustainable development of the industry,to provide theoretical support for the sustainable development of government decision making.Life cycle assessment has become an important means to achieve sustainable development of human society,and its development has received extensive attention from governments,enterprises and social organizations.The Impact2002+ evaluation system provides an assessment method for analyzing the environmental impacts of pollutant emissions.In this paper,through the survey of current situation of Shandong paper industry sustainable development,based on the life cycle theory,representative of the two kinds of paper pulp papermaking process and paper deinking process process life cycle assessment of Shandong,get behind the production of 1t paper products bring comprehensive environmental impact,combined with the actual production of paper products in Shandong province.The environmental influence of papermaking industry behind the development of Shandong province around the city can be quantified,understand the status quo of the sustainable development of paper industry in Shandong province.To find the principle of development of paper industry and the sustainable development is not adapt to the link,according to the main pollutants and the main production process improvement scheme is proposed to put forward suggestions for improvement,to provide reference for the sustainable development of Shandong province to further promote the paper industry.The innovation of this paper is to use the method of life cycle assessment to evaluate the whole life cycle of paper-making process.Overcome the limitations of the past only focus on theend of paper industry governance,based on the overall situation of Shandong paper industry for analysis and research.The results show that
