In the comprehensive context of rapid economy and society development and the construction of new urbanization,China's land use degree, manner and structure, etc.are constantly changing.Realizing the sustainable utilization of land is a necessary guarantee to maintain and promote a series of production and living activities, and is also an important link to realize the sustainable development of economy and society. Therefore,it is quite vital to study and evaluate the land use sustainbility. This study takes the systematicism and sustainable development theory as the theory basis,Combine with the land use dynamic change and characteristics of Zhejiang province, the comprehensive evaluation index system of sustainable land use was constructed from three aspacts of economical produstion index, social acceptable index and ecological security index, then use the triangle model to evaluate the states and trends of sustainable land use from 1996 to 2014.Meanwhile,this study calculated the coupling coordination among the three subsystems of economy, society and ecology, and obtained the possibility of "ordered" future development of land use system.Based on the same evaluation and analysis of the 11 cities in Zhejiang Province, the comprehensive results of the sustainable utilization of land and the coupling coordination of economy, social and ecology and their spatial-temporal characteristics are obtained.Assigning the weights to indices with the comprehensive outcomes of entropy weight method and improved variation coefficient method.Using Grapher9.0 to draw the triangle model and the Arcgis 10.0 to show the coupling coordination results. The main conclusion of this stady are:(1)the overall land use sustainbility level of Zhejiang is relatively low and basically maintaind at a more sustaibility level from 2004 to 2014,but it is overall in a rising state;(2)the coupling coordination degree increased from 0.0975 to 0.4965,on the verge of disorder. The outcomes of spatiotemporal analysis shows:(1)the land use sustainbility feature of Jiaxing and Quzhou are "economy leading"and "ecological improvement" seperately while the other cities are "seciety improvement",and the sustainbility states of all the 11 cities are gradually improving;(2)the sustainbility trends of Jinghua and Lishui becomes worse in recent years, namely the ability to maintain and promote the sustainbility level is weak;(3)the coupling coordination degree of Jiaxing in 2014 is 0.3367,belonging to mild disorder, and the coupling coordination degree of other cities are basically in the interval of 0.5-0.59,belonging to barely coordinated. The innovation of this study is mainly reflected in the research perspective, research methods and the evaluation index system construction:(1)this study was conducted from two aspects of sustainable land use evaluation and coupling coordination of to obtain the comprehensive results of land use status quo and future development trend, which is more comprehensive and accurate than the previous sustainable evaluation;(2)different from previous studies that are divided into 5 levels in sustainable state, the triangle model in this study is divided into 25 kinds in state and 6 kinds in trend and can make a better evaluation of Zhejiang province which has a variety of terrain and regional differences, and also more conducive to get the spatial characteristics of sustainable land use detailed and accurate;(3)The three goals of sustainable development and the five requirements of sustainable land use are analyzed and summed up in the following three aspects:economical production, social acceptability and ecological security, and then the comprehensive evaluation index system is constructed.
