A Study On Optimization Of JW's Intelligent Hardware New Product Project Decision-Making Flow

"Intelligent hardware" has been a technological concept following“smartphone”.Combination of software and hardware can help transform the traditional equipment,endowing it with intelligent functions.Nowadays,intelligent equipment includes but is not limited to intelligent television,intelligent home decoration,intelligent auto,medical care,intelligent toy,robot,etc.Deeply influenced by hype-up of investors and the market,intelligent hardware has quickly emerged in the current technological industry.JW is a company committed to R&D and production of intelligent hardware.Many intelligent hardware products of JW are extremely popular on the market,having met diversified user demands.However,there are also some of its products failing to cater to user habits,incapable of meeting user demands,yielding little profit for the company or even impossible to turn out.Problems with these products are mainly attributed to lack of systematic survey,analysis and verification in the new product decision-making system.Therefore,it is imperative for JW to further design and optimize its new product project decision-making flow.This paper adopts the intelligent hardware new product project decision-making flow of JW as the research object,carefully analyzes problems existing in JW' s original new product project decision-making flow,and refers to the theory of project management and BPR to conduct optimization and transformation of the company ' s current new product project decision-making flow.After half a year of intensified work,the new flow design and verification have been finished,and recognized by the management level.With the improved new product project decision-making flow,JW has increased accuracy of its new product project decision-making,reduced risks of failures of new product projects,and improved the rate of investment return of its products.Moreover,it has helped JW to pool its competitive resources to marketize its knock-out products.The current intelligent hardware enterprises have encountered some similar problems in terms of the new product project decision-making flow,so the research findings of this paper can serve as references to some extent.However,as IT changes with each passing day,every enterprise has developed their own characteristics,so research findings of this paper are not applicable to all intelligent hardware enterprises.
