With the speedy development of China's cities,followed by a variety of urban problems,livable city construction has also been concerned.Big cities are usually densely populated areas,with the development of the cities' economic,whether the livability synchronization and positive development at the same time,is of great significance to the healthy and orderly development of the city.In this paper,we define the big cities with the latest city scale standards,and study the coordinated development degree and the spatial and temporal patterns of the livability and economy.Firstly,this paper reviews the researches on the urban livability and the relationship between urban livability and economy at home and abroad.On this basis,a comprehensive evaluation index system for the coordinated development of livability and economy of big cities in China is constructed.And the big cities in our country by region are divided into northwest China,Southwest China,North China,central China,southern China,Northeast China and East China.According to the total population at the end year of the city area,the big cities will be divided into megacity behemoth,mega city,I cities and II big cities.With the help of SPSS software,the livable comprehensive evaluation index and economic comprehensive evaluation index of the three time sections in the year of 2005,2010 and 2014 were calculated and analyzed.The coordination degree model and the coordinated development degree model are introduced to classify the coordination degree and coordinated development degree of the livability and economy of the big cities in China.Exploratory spatial data analysis is used to study the spatial pattern of coordinated development degree.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall level of livable and economic coordination degree of big cities in our country is relatively high.But the degree of coordinated development is significantly different,high value mainly concentrated in the eastern region and the central and western provinces and cities.The coordinated development degree of the central and western regions is generally low.(2)With the coordination degree and coordinated development degree,the big cities of our country can be divided into four types,namely,high-high type,high-low type,low-high type and low-low type.I cities,mega cities and megacity behemoth mostly belong to the high-high city.(3)The global spatial autocorrelation analysis of the coordinated development degree is carried out.The results show that there is a certain convergence trend in the degree of coordinated development.That is,there is the phenomenon that the coordinated development degree of high(low)cities tend to have a high(low)value distribution.(4)Based on the analysis of local spatial autocorrelation,we can see that the degree of coordinated development is similar to that of the same kind of cluster,and the phenomenon of "low lying"and "high ground"are not obvious.The overall spatial pattern changed little.H-H clustering always distributed in Yangtze River Delta,the Pearl River Delta and Beijing,Dalian and other cities.L-L clustering is mainly distributed in Sichuan Province,Gansu province and Guangxi Province.(5)Hot spot analysis shows that the hotspots of coordinated development are mainly located in Beijing Tianjin region,Yangtze River Delta region and Pearl River Delta region.The agreement with H-H type clustering is high.Cold spots are distributed in Southwest China,Southern China and central China.The range is slightly larger than the L-L cluster.And the overall stability of the pattern is strong,the basic maintenance of hot constant hot,cold point constant cold state.
