In recent years,endless food safety incidents make the food consumers suffer a lot and they also bring some negative effects for economic development and social progress.Therefore,how to improve food safety management system and solve the problem of food safety to protect "the tongue safety" of the broad masses has become the focus of attention of the community.In view of the objective existence of the special properties of food and the serious information asymmetry in the food market,the governance of food safety issues needs to be dominated by government regulators.Therefore,in order to safeguard the health and life of consumers and promote the healthy development of the food market,it is imminent to improve the quality of the food safety supervision,analyze the weaknesses in food safety regulation and promote the work of food safety to a new level.Given this,this study combines the specific characteristics of the food market with the current situation of the China food safety regulation.The main methods of this research are literature study method,theoretical deduction method,Delphi expert investigation method,network hierarchy analysis method and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.This paper systematically reviews the current situation of the China food safety regulation and constructs an evaluation model of the China food safety regulation.Next,this research quantifies the performance of the China food safety regulation,constructs the performance index of the China food safety regulation and discusses the problems and shortcomings in the process of government supervision of food safety in China.Accordingly,this paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the China food safety regulation.Based on the research results of the performance index of the China food safety regulation,this paper analyzes the current situation of this performance index.Finally,the following conclusions were drawn.(1)The government supervision of food safety in our country is basically qualified,and the supervision needs to be improved;(2)The risk supervision system of food safety is imperfect,and there are loopholes in the pre-supervision;(3)the implementation of food recall supervision and accident control supervision are not in place,and the process management is the weakest part;(4)The regulations of the accident summary and accident investigation are basically up to standard,and treatments after the event need to be strengthened.Considering of the above conclusions,this study puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,which define theoretical and practical value for improving the theory of food safety management and guiding the food safety management.
