Analysis On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Migrant Workers' Social Insurance

The rational flow of population and the transfer of surplus labor force in rural areas is a problem that can not be ignored in the social and economic development of China.The key lies in the non agriculturalist and urbanization of agricultural labor if China want to develop from a backward agricultural country into a modern industrial country.The social insurance of migrant workers is a problem that can not be ignored.However,migrant workers have been excluded from the urban social insurance,which has become the "marginal person" in the social insurance ".The lack of social insurance of migrant workers is causing more and more contradictions and conflicts.Therefore,the study on the social insurance of migrant workers,not only is a important practical problem,but also is a strategic problem.This study takes Keqiao District of Shaoxing city as an example,based on the questionnaire survey of migrant workers and,using descriptive statistical analysis method,from four aspects of the individual characteristics of migrant workers,working conditions,participation in social insurance,participation willness of social insurance,and the current problems and causes are discussed.The aim is to discuss the current situation and existing problems of migrant workers' social insurance in Keqiao district.The main research process and conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The evolution and current situation of the social insurance policy of migrant workers in China.Mainly on the three periods of social insurance of migrant workers in China have experienced,and introduced the special social background of migrant workers social insurance,and provide the reference for the study of the following parts.(2)Survey on social insurance of migrant workers in Keqiao district.By using descriptive statistical analysis method,based on the investigation of Keqiao migrant workers questionnaire,from the four aspects of personal characteristics,migrant workers work,participate in social insurance status and willingness to participate in social insurance,analysis of the present situation of social insurance in the Keqiao District of migrant workers.(3)Analysis on the problems and causes of social insurance for migrant workers.On the basis of the current situation of the social insurance of migrant workers,analysis of the problems in the insurance in Keqiao District.Discuss the reasons for the formation of the problem from the two aspects of the system,the economy,the factors of participating subject.(4)Based on the above analysis,in order to improve the social insurance status of migrant workers,put forward the following opinions and suggestions in this study: to deepen the reform of the household registration system in urban and rural areas;to strengthen the construction of legal system of social security;to broaden the financing channels of social insurance;to improve the quality of migrant workers;to establish trade unions.
