Baoding Space Economic Analysis And Development Strategy In The Background Of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei

Baoding has many counties and a wide area,but its economic development is backward.During recent years,the coordinated development of Jing-Jin-Ji region provides unprecedented opportunities for the economic development of Baoding.Such opportunity and the economic development of Baoding are both closely related to spatial economy.Based on the above considerations,this paper analyzes the characteristics of spatial economy of Baoding and Jing-Jin-Ji with the Gravity Model and urban-flow intensity and discusses the economic development strategy of Baoding.Firstly,we analysis and discuss the general situations of natural environment and economy of Baoding.Besides,we draw the density distribution of population distribution of Baoding.With the Gravity Model,we analyze the spatial economic relationship and economic subordination degree of the county units in Baoding in 2000,2004,2010 and 2014.The spatial economic characteristics of Baoding are discussed and presented on basis of the aforesaid discussion.Then,the spatial economic characteristics of 13 cities of Jing-Jin-Ji in 2000,2005,2010 and 2014 are calculated with the urban-flow intensity and the Gravitational model.From the perspective of the spatial economic characteristics the Jing-Jin-Ji region,the problems of Baoding from the perspective of Jing-Jin-Ji are discussed.Following the analysis presented above,we argue that the ideal development strategy for Baoding is group development.A regional core should be created with the original municipal district,Qingyuan,Xushui and Mancheng to lead and radiate its surrounding counties.Gaobeidian,Zhuozhou,Laishui and Dingxing can combine with each other to form a new regional economic group,whose geographic center is Gaobeidian and economic leaders are Gaobeidian and Zhuozhou.This new economic group can be used to undertake the urban flow overflowing from Beijing and Tianjin.Rongcheng,Xiongxian and Anxin can comprise an economic district,which can enhance their economic lies to the municipal district through Xushui.Lixian,Boye,Anguo and Gaoyang,whose county towns lie in a line,can merged with each other to form a cluster of medicine,fur and food in the southeast of Baoding.Dingzhou,Wangdu,Tangxian,Quyang and Fuping collaborate with each other to compose an economic region in the southwest of Baoding.With Dingzhou as a leader,this economic region can enhance the connection between Baoding and Shijiazhuang.In the west of Baoding,a western region with Laiyuan as the core can be established.This region is characterized by tourism industry and can strengthen the cooperation between Baoding,Zhangjiakou and Shanxi.
